This is amazing. Our 4 year old tank has never truly been clear. We've tried everything. We only have a few fish, we clean, we do regular water changes, we have tried several filters, we make RO water, tried several products, everything. I happened to find this on saltwateraquarium and since everything else buy here is great gave it a try. Within a few days we could see the difference. For the last month the tank has remained crystal clear like never before. AMAZING

This stuff works really well, I was actually really impressed with it. It makes your water super clean and I’ve noticed a huge impact on the amount of waste buildup as well as algae.

I love this product! My tank currently has five female platies that are big eaters and are huge waste producers. Without a really good cleanup crew, their food sometimes sinks to the bottom and just sits and yucks up my tank. After a while, detritus worms started to thrive! I started using Seachem Pristine during every water change and the worms disappeared because the bacteria has been eating up their food source (old fish food and my platy's waste). I will continue using Seachem Pristine during every water change!

Glad it doesn't smell like rotten eggs, and seems to work but only for a few days. Definitely better than having to rinse cartridges out every 2 days. Now I can relax all week long.
Really great product. The water in my aquarium was not very clean and clear. Bought this product after checking reviews. So glad I did. After 3-4 weeks when during my weekly maintenance there is hardly any left over sludge from poo and undigested food. It is amazing stuff. Have ordered some more.
Outstanding stuff! Works really well at managing tanks that are heavily stocked. Works as advertised. I think this would be a good way to help establish a biological filter quickly, though I am not an expert. Added it to a heavily stocked tanked as directed. About 6 hours later, there was no waste in my tank that was visible.
Pristine is helping get my tank in balance! Even the Diatoms (brown algae) are disappearing! This is the third Seachem product I've purchased at PetCo. The suction cup ammonia and ph monitors really make it easy to monitor and give you peace of mind when going through these phases that tanks sometimes do.
I had one saltwater fish-only aquarium that had a rather obvious amount of sludge in the gravel. I added this stuff twice and the day after the second addition, the sludge layer was visibly reduced. I have since made a routine of adding this stuff, and with no water changes or stirring of the gravel (other than what the inhabitants do), the sludge is gone. Good stuff.
Works in both freshwater and saltwater so therefore brackish water as well. The other review is based on a bad shipping experience and has nothing to do with product's efficacy.
I always felt the water in my aquarium was very clear. Bought this product to help digest fish waste on the gravel, and within a week the clarity of the water was amazing!! In another week will vacuum the bottom and see how it does in that regard.
