It was an impulse purchase in the Chichester branch. Was not sure which size to buy, however despite some reviews saying the waist is small I found I fitted my normal size.. It goes to below mid calf length on me, which is perfect for Autumn, spring weather (or the British weather for summer ..). It is very flattering with the A line shape and is perfect to put a t shirt underneath, or with jumper and boots in the winter.

Size 16, tall-lovely length for winter and summer. The skirt is A line which is perfect for me. I have recently lost some weight and the waistband is comfortable even though not elasticated. I bought a Larissa shirt to go with it.I am sure that I will be wearing this useful skirt throughout the seasons.

This is such a useful skirt in a lovely soft true denim material, which goes with everything, especially all my Seasalt tops! I love the style, the length and the relaxed fit. The waist is maybe a bit tight for the size, but, being denim, it relaxes a little even without an elastic back. This is a great skirt for travelling. The denim and the stitching are excellent quality.

I loved this skirt and the denim is perfect along with the length. Unfortunately it had to be returned as the waist was so tiny. I can't find another one in the tall category in a larger size so presumably everyone else had the same problem! Having looked at the size guide I thought size 10 would be ok as that is my usual size in Seasalt products but I should have bought size 12 which I realised once I saw the skirt. Seasalt sizing is all over the place and not just for this skirt.
I am very disappointed with this purchase and customer service , as I usually like Seasalt clothing. And I don’t write the reviews at all, but this time I have to.The quality of the skirt not as expected, material average and fit unsuitable. The zip was faulty also. Even at the discounted price it’s not worth the money. Sorry about this review but it’s truth. And also after returning it back on 22nd October, as of today, which is 7th November, I haven’t received my refund or email from Seasalt.
At last a calf length plain skirt from Seasalt. I had high hopes. Fabric was lovely and length perfect. However the shape did not suit me. Waist is high and the front pockets just looked odd.Sadly I returned it. I hope there will be more calf length skirts in plain colours to wear with all the patterned tops.
This skirt is great. A good length which works well with or without tights. The colour is great too and the heavyweight fabric is comfortable to wear. The deep waistline takes a little getting used to but it's very flattering. The reason for 4 anchors is that it's a little restrictive for walking. A kick pleat or slit would be helpful.
Finally a skirt that suits those of us who are pear-shaped. I purchased a size 14, it fitted perfect in the waist and allowed space for my larger hips. Usually I have to order a size 16 and suffer a gaping waistband.A great quality skirt, good length too, keeps my chubby little knees covered even whilst sitting down. My favoutie casual-wear skirt by far! Please may we have some coloured corduroy ones in this fitting too.
I wanted a skirt as an alternative to jeans that never suit my pear shape. Very pleased to find that this skirt actually fits! I would like it a little shorter but it will be fine. I have to wear flat shoes and it looks good with trainers.It going with me to enjoy an Australian spring so don’t know yet how it will wear in practice. Having petite sized clothing is such a bonus. Ordering and delivery excellent. Price fair.I will definitely be buying from Seasalt again.And aCornish firm.
Has yet to be worn but it is a nice weight denim and a perfect length for me. I bought a regular length skirt, am 5ft 10ins tall and the skirt falls mid calf which is great when you are older and do not want too much leg showing. The skirt would be too warm for a hot summer like last year but good I think through the spring, autumn and winter months. I personally like the few buttons down the front of the skirt as it helps define my shape for the better. I am not keen on side or back zips in denim material. I bought a bigger size than normal having read some reviews saying the sizing was a little small. I am glad I did that.
