My normal potting mix was not in stock anywhere. So, reluctantly, I bought this one.My house is now FILLED with Gnats, with the infestations ONLY in the plants I repotted with these.If you haven't had Gnats - trust me - you do NOT want them in your home.Good thing, my usual potting mix is back in stock.

I wish I read the reviews before I purchased this terrible soil. All the plants I repotted with this soil were heavily infested with ghats. It took me 3 months to eradicate them - It was so stressful! Although my plants survived, they’re in terrible condition.

If only there was an option for 0 star. Do NOT buy this potting mix unless you wish your plants die a quick rotting death. I wish I read all these reviews before I purchased. I’m absolutely devastated, all the plants I repotted with this potting mix are in various stages of root rot and dying, it retains water for too long (even when I added charcoal and perlite). Don’t make the same mistake I made. Stay clear of this potting mix

Terrible. Soil looked fungus gnat free when potting but within a few weeks huge numbers of fungus gnats were crawling all over the newly potted plants. Must be eggs in the potting mix and lots of them. We did not have gnats before.
Terrible. Should not be stocked at all. Immediate gnat infestation. Horrific drainage. Retains too much moisture. Should be given away for free. Don’t buy it :(
Bought this 2 months ago to grow indoor plants. 3 weeks later, the soil was already infested with a big colony of gnats. Repotted the plants with soil from same bag and more gnat problem! Have bought so many products to fix the issue but looks like the soil is the main issue. DO NOT BUY this.
This stuff should be given out for free. Definitely don’t use it indoors. You’ll spawn gnats so fast. It holds too much moisture and does not drain. Kicking myself for not reading reviews first as I’ve now lost plants to this soil mix.
I bought it about 3 weeks ago for repotting my indoor monstera and philodendron. Now they’ve got gnats as other people are saying. I have repotted them before with another indoor potting mix and they had never never got gnats before. Disappointment…I should have checked those reviews before purchase.
My Amazon lilies (Eucharis Grandiflora) were getting limp and lifeless, so 4 months ago I decided to replant them in this potting mix. Once they got acclimatised to it, they starting throwing up lots of big strong new leaves and they've continued to produce many new leaves and thrive. Apparently I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't get any gnats in the mix I bought.
Overpriced garbage - doesn't have any of the things required to make this suitable as an "indoor" potting mix whatsoever.Just bog standard $2 bag in a different package & at 4x the price.Pretty certain it was infested with gnats when I bought it & had to spend a bunch of time & dollars getting rid of them. ($50+ on sticky traps + more on diotomaceous earth + had to make homemade traps & quarantine all my indoor plants in one room for 3 weeks - including all the poinsettias I planned to gift people at xmas).Osmocote is the good one - buy that and save yourself a bunch of hassles.Wish I'd done my homework first - annoyed Bunnings hadn't either...
