Secret Clinical Strength Soft Solid Antiperspirant and Deodorant, Stress Response, 1.6 oz, Pack of 3

I am somebody who sweats a lot, and I always have been that way. Currently I am in menopause, so my sweating is even worse! The only thing that works for me is secret clinical strength deodorant, in fact I swear by them. I usually use the one that is a white solid that comes through the plastic in the top, so it’s more of a cream deodorant. The last time I needed deodorant my husband grabbed it for me from the store and he grabbed this one in particular. It was a two pack and I have definitely put them both to use. This deodorant is a LIFE SAVER. It controls sweats and odor EXTREMELY well. I have tried sooooooo many different brands and this is the only one that works for me. It’s kinda embarrassing but true. I work from 9am to 7pm and my armpit does not sweat or smelly at all while having it on. I don’t know what i would do without this deodorant. Since it works so well… it kinda gives my armpit that sticky kinda feeling after bath. What I normally do is use body sugar scrubs and that sticky feeling went away. Highly recommend this for someone with a strong and nasty odor like me.

Bring back older scents please

I really like the secret soft solid. But I am very picky about scent. I preferred the powder scent, lavender, orchid. The active fresh smells like men’s deodorant. And with descriptions like “light and fresh” that doesn’t tell me about what it might smell like. I don’t want to buy only to not like it. At least describe what it might smell like. Please bring back the older scents. These are disappointing. I tried dove brand trying to get a nicer scent, but it flakes off. This review is forcing to say I got free product which I did not.

Good antiperspirant

It is fruity and tropical, I love it! As for the product itself, I'd say it does its job pretty well, and keeps you fresh all day. I went on a bike ride and did sweat a lot, but my armpits didn't feel all smelly and gross afterwards. I don't think it would last 48 hours like the box says, but even after taking a shower, I could feel that this antiperspirant was still present on my skin, so it does last a while. Because of this, I found that the amount of product given in the container quickly goes down. I only used it maybe 3-4 times, and I only have about half of the container left. Other than that, I think it's a good antiperspirant, and I will definitely use up the rest of it.

Great at first, then horrible reaction

Loved it so much, went out and bought 3 more. Smells great, goes on smooth, lasts a long time. After using for about a month or two, I started getting a terrible rash from it. It got so bad after a few days that my armpits started splitting open and I had tons tiny cuts all over both of them. Most painful thing ever. I’ve never experienced anything like this with any other deodorant before! I had to slather them in neosporin for days while they healed and the entire time it felt like my pits were being continuously slashed by little razors. Needless to say, I will never be using this deodorant again.

Great for sweat, not the best odour

The soft solid formula goes on very smooth without tugging sensitive skin under the arms, which I like. I didn't notice any residue on my clothing personally. As an antiperspirant, this product works well. I think this did work well to fight against sweat. However, I don't think it did the same for odour unfortunately. I am not someone who typically has a lot of odour but I noticed in the weeks of testing this product I seemed to have more than usual. Not User Friendly!

I don't like leaving negative reviews but on this item, I feel compelled to. My complaint is not with the efficacy of the antiperspirant. It does keep me dry. My complaint is with the container it is in. The twist dial at the bottom is almost impossible to twist! It is so flimsy that it caves in when I try to twist it to express the antiperspirant through the holes at the top and I cannot get a good grip on it. My goodness, how strong do they think women's hands are?? I have to wrap a towel around the bottom of the applicator every time I want to use it just to get enough grip on the twist dial to get it to twos6t at all! EVERY TIME!! Grr!! Applying antiperspirant should be an easy part of my day, not an Olympic sport or feat!! Pointless

This was put in my drive up order on accident, I ordered the solid formula and was given this one. I figured this was the new solid formula and gave it a shot. Completely ineffective. One click isn’t enough and two clicks is way too much antiperspirant for my underarms. It feels wet under my arms and probably slides off onto my clothing because it DISAPPEARS from my body leaving me with nothing on my under arms, stinky, sticky and sweaty. It’s so bizarre, I tried to chalk it up to a freak accident the first few applications but it’s been like this for over a month. I can’t understand how/why people use this…you’re better off not using anything because it literally disappears off your skin. Throwing it in the trash and happy to know the solid formula still exists.
