I would have posted a picture with this review but I bought this coloring book several years ago and I have already completed it. I love the heavy paper I love the detail in this coloring book if you want to spend hours getting lost and what you were doing and turn the world out by this book spend the money and do it! Coloring for me is therapeutic and it’s an escape and you don’t have to use colored pencils you can also use markers!

My favourite book as a 9/10 year old young girl. I read and re read that book over and over again. Now my 10 year old son is reading it in school for his English lessons and its bringing back lovely memories. Top of my shopping list. Looking forward to reading it again. Beautifully written and I can still picture the garden in my head as I imagined it as a child. A classic. #secretgarden

Johanna basford is a very common name when you mention coloring. She is an amazing artist and with each stroke from your pencil or pen, her illustrations come to life in a huge way. It's fun to search for the hidden items, or to color the page and search after. The pages are double sided, there are a few two-page spreads, and the pages are also serrated for easy removal. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this book or any other by her. Amazing quality!
The absolute BEST way to relax and release stress! My favorite adult coloring book so far. I got mine off of amazon, but I’m sure you could find in your local book stores. The pages are sturdy and thick so you could use the marker tip pens to color (which is my FAVORITE the colors are so bright). Each picture ranges from easy-hard so need to feel overwhelmed with only hard intricate pages. Overall, 10/10 recommend :)
This coloring book is so cute and the perfect “adult” coloring book! I got it as a gift and have gotten so much use out of it. I love it so much and would definitely recommend!! Great activity for winding down or relaxing.
I love this coloring book! the drawings are beautiful - especially the animals flowers. I use prismacolor coloring pencils for the most part. coloring does help me so much with my anxiety. I also purchased the “world of flowers” coloring book since I loved this one so much.
I love this coloring book!!! I love the pictures in this book. They are so beautiful. They have such good detail. If you don't like coloring flowers this isn't the book for you, because there are sooo mannny flowers!!! Using coloring pencils is needed in this book because if you use ink it will bleed thru. The pictures are on both sides of the pages. Some of the pictures use both sides of the page making it a huge beautiful picture. When I am done with this book, I will probably buy another one because I like it so much and enjoy coloring in it again.
I have a very stressful life at times from work, and I could never find anything to take the stress away and make me feel completely calm. I absolutely adore this book!! The pictures are so beautifully detailed...so while I'm coloring, I want it to be awesome. So I concentrate on the colors I want to use, how I want it to look in my mind, and I just start to color. It is the most relaxing thing I have ever done, because I want my pictures to be perfect. Some people might think "well, that's more stress", but I am so relaxed doing it, that my night at work has disappeared and I am calm, happy, and content. Such interesting , well drawn pages.I felt as though I was with the character climbing the tree, escaping from the confines of HER sad-feeling, empty home. I'm reminded of too many escapes from places/times like that. Coloring soothes me, takes me far away from the present and to another world where I can rest from my REAL life, hang my pain-sack on the book's tree limb and have an adventure . While I'm putting my colors inside the lines so creatively drawn by the REAL artist, I'm CREATING. This " coloring book" reminds me I TOO am an artist, creative and able to also escape. It's a great tale without words. I enjoyed it so much that I've given several as gifts. My order arrived fast and book was well packaged. Great experience.
