Secrid - Slimwallet Matte Black

Nice minimalist wallet. The leather feels really good and the mechanism for cards is very smooth. One downside is that inside of the wallet picks up a lot of dust and lint, which is very visible on the black, but it's easy to clean.

Great wallet! This is my 2nd SECRID wallet. My original is several years old but still holding up, just wanted an updated color. Only thing is, the metal interior looks black in the pictures but turned out to be a silver brushed metal, which I like, but wasn’t what I was expecting.

The plastic cash flap isn’t very functional; it barely holds anything (maybe 2-3 folded bills comfortably; any more wouldn’t be recommended). The way the user must fold bills in it makes the wallet become very bulky (which defeats the purpose of a “slim-wallet”). The wallet will stay open if many bills/papers are inserted into the flap, which is somewhat annoying. But the most annoying problem is: bills & papers can fall out when opening the wallet (when you have enough bills & receipts in the bill flap).Lately, I’ve been putting all my bills & receipts in my pocket, so I guess I will need a money clip for that. Maybe I’ve misjudged my need for a slim wallet. Maybe a slim wallet is not right for me, personally.My recommendations :* If you don’t hold bills at all or very little, & use about 6-7 cards = this wallet suits you, especially with the flashy innovative way you’ll be flashing out your cards.* If you like holding a lot of cash, cards & receipts = this is definetly not the choice for you. Other wallets would be better.* If you are somewhere in between where you hold some bills & papers, & hold more than 6-7 cards= You can check out the bigger models Secrid offers, or maybe just buy the card-ejector (for your cards) & buy a money clip for bills (like I will be doing).In all cases, I have enjoyed using this wallet & will continue to.

While vacationing in Europe recently, we discovered Property Of. Besides having quality made products, their staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased their wallet which is compact, easy to use, very nice leather. When we arrived home, we bought another one online as a gift.

Great product! I switched to Secrid wallet after my last Bellroy got roughed when I got soaked in the rain. The beautiful soft leather started fraying at the edges. Secrid wallet because of the aluminum case helps the leather hold its shape especially around the edges. The leather quality is very good an comparable to Bellroy in my opinion...but I am no tanner by trade. Love the mechanism that flicks the card out in a tiered manner. I put my Paywave card down the bottom so it comes out furthest and I just tap it when I need it. One thing to be mindful of. It holds 6 credit card thick items. So if you have an apartment pass, it might take up 2 credit card thickness. I enjoy this product and am very happy that I purchased it.

Almost perfect for my daily

I've been using this product for several weeks now.I like the quick access to 4 everyday cards in the main compartment, and the ability to slip in 2 more cards inside the outer wrap with some notes.I only wish there was a magnetic strip so the outer wrap does not fall open. Everything remains secure regardless, but the magnet would add extra security and avoid showing others what I have inside unintentionally. I'll probably add my own magnet strip to this wallet myself.

Best wallet I owned so far

The secrid wallet is really classy and handy to use. The matte versione has a sandstone-ish feel to it, and has an absolutely wonderful leather smell...smells like victory!Mechanism works great as expected and, although it doesn't feature a button (because #gominimal ;P ), the flap stays closed and after a couple of days of use it breackes in and folds nice and easy..even while holding some bills and business cards.All in all I am very pleased with the purchase. Mukama did a fantastic job with the delivery - fast, and the item came in perfect conditions!I will surely buy again from their website. Cheers!

Good Slim Wallet

Bought my partner the Matte Night Blue wallet without the clasp for Christmas and product is just as described. Very slim and love the way it looks.Maybe because the wallet is still new, if you do plan to stuff it, just note the wallet won't close flat. If that bothers you, might be better to get the slim wallet with the clasp.

Perfect travel companion

3 months and I'm very happy with it. Especially practical for traveling, due to how compact it is, still it provides very quick access to 5-6 cards, but also fits a number of extra cards in the interiors compartments for less frequently usex cards (e.g. in the internal compartments one could keep health insurance and emergency bancomat cards, other insurances like REGA card, etc).

This is my second Secrid. I like its compactness and efficiency. The card-ejection mechanism in the old one had become sticky and unreliable after 5 years. The “olive” colour is a little disappointing — it seemed brighter online and this is a truly army green, hence only 4 stars — but never mind, it will do.
