I have had this scooter for a year and commute with it during spring, summer and fall (excluding dec-feb). After 3 years of daily usage (8 miles total) and being in a trunk during some hot days, it works just as good as the day I got it. The battery life is excellent and reliable, as are the motor and breaks. This scooter is lighter* weight. I use it for the "third leg" of my commute to get from my car to my work, which is a few miles. I especially like that it folds for easy storage. The folding option allows me to store it in my trunk quickly and out of sight for later errands. I am also able to store it out of the way at work and conveniently charge it. Not to mention it is quite a blast and I don't show up all sweaty on hot days or worry about walking alone at night. I like that it has two breaking options and different acceleration speeds. It handles hills pretty well but I wouldn't think it would do well on very steep hills (see incline restrictions). For the larger hills I go on, I will sometimes give it a push to get more momentum. It is smooth and handles well, unlike the scooters you rent which feel a bit jerky and sudden in their acceleration.Overall, I highly recommend this scooter for someone who wants a faster mode of transportation and an alternative method to a bike or for kids!

The E2 Pro falls short on quality. I've received two units, with the first failing at just 1.8 miles and the replacement malfunctioning straight out of the box! Both flagged a Code 18 error (motor sensor). It's unclear whether this is due to design flaws or poor quality control. After three weeks, I'm still unable to ride. Currently working on securing a third replacement, which might take another two weeks due to the return process. My advice: steer clear of the E2 Pro for now! A detailed YouTube video on my experience with this model is in the works.

DONT BUY THIS SCOOTER. But any other brand. Segway doesn't stand behind their product!

Purchased this for my daughter to use while she is away at college. I have never owned an electric scooter or bike… I am not an expert by any means. Build quality is great. Easy to setup and easy to use. Super comfortable, smooth ride, controllable and stable at all speeds. Very friendly to use. I am 5’ 11” 230lbs and my daughter is 5’ 2” and it fix use both just fine. It’s light enough for her to pick up and carry. It rolls very well even when using no electric. My wife loves it. I foresee us buying another one.

Fun entry level scooter!

Scooter arrived yesterday. Assembly is super easy. Just connect the steering handle and secure with six screws.Charged up to 50% pretty quickly like within an hour and a half or so probably. 50-100% seemed a little slower.Took it for a quick spin at night. The headlight was bright and put out a decent amount of light.I’m just over 200lbs, so I’m sure the experience for those lighter will vary, but still this little thing was surprisingly nimble. On a relatively flat surface the display was registering 18-20kmph. Going up any sort of incline challenges it a bit. You can put it in the high power mode to overcome slight inclines with a running start. I’m not terribly hopeful that I’ll get 12 mile range given my weight, and riding outside of the lowest power setting. ... MoreScooter arrived yesterday. Assembly is super easy. I took it out for a ride in a parking lot with lots of inclines for about 15 -20 minutes or so and the battery was down to 50%.The suspension on this is a little rough. You feel most bumps… not the smoothest ride. The electric brake system works well. You can also step on the rear fender to manually brake if needed.Overall very impressed with this scooter so far. The build quality seems solid and high quality. Purchased on sale for around the $200 mark on sale.Great beginner scooter or for those who just want to take short rides.Fun little toy!

It is not the fastest but more than enough for daily commute. It can go uphill better than I expected, but one issue I had is the front suspension started creaking after a while. It doesn’t affect the ride, it only makes noises. I do have to charge it everyday after a 30-40 min commute (can probably last an hr from full charge to 0), not the best battery life but it’s reasonable given the size. I would still buy this if I had to choose again for its light weight (much easier to carry, especially upstairs) and good value!

I was a bit afraid to get this scooter given the negative reviews, but it is one of the cheapest name brand e-scooters out there, and I'm just not willing to spend a ton of money for an e-scooter. I'm not trying to win a scooter race, or go off-roading with it, I just wanted a scooter to get to the bus stop. So it's actually a very decent scooter and I'm very happy with it. Now, full disclosure, I weight between 140-150 pounds, and this scooter's weight limit is 220 pounds. I think being underweight REALLY helps with getting the advertised mileage and speed. My brother is closer to the weight limit, and he complains it's slow, but he still has fun riding it.There are a couple of negative points: the floorboard is small. My brother is closer to the weight limit, and he complains it's slow, but he still has fun riding it.There are a couple of negative points: the floorboard is small. You have to stand with your feet one behind the other, and the back feet needs to be on "tip toes" so as not engage the back brake. It doesn't bother me much personally, but if putting most of your weight on one foot is an issue for you, then this scooter is not for you. Secondly, the scooter doesn't have "suspension", you will definitely feel the tiny bumps and cracks on the road. Thirdly, I can't get the app to connect to the scooter, but you don't NEED the app to ride it anyway, it's just a thing to help you set cruising speeds. The positives: One of the cheapest quality e-scooters out there, with a nice streamlined look, and less heavy than other e-scooters. I do think the advertisement oversells how easy it is to carry around: it's not that easy, it's still heavy, but definitely less heavy than other scooters I tried.

Though this is an entry-level scooter, I am truly blown away by how well built the E2 Pro is! I took it on an 8 mile round-trip to run some errands and encounted rough roads and A LOT of steep hills. Without any suspension, I was surpised by how well the scooter handled bumps with minimal shock transfering through the handlebars, and also very little noise as well. Hills were also no issue. As a 180lb. rider, this scooter took me straight up some properly steep hills without a sweat (I should also mention that I was not even in the most powerful mode). Mentioning the handlebars, they are also a highlight. They are quite wide which helps with stabilty compared to the other few scooters I have ridden. Overall, I am incredibly happy with the E2 Pro and recommend it to anyone looking to dip their toe into e-scooters. 8 mile ride: Started with 94% battery and ended at 41%. Realtively hilly on both my trip out and on the way back. Used the 2nd mode (D) out of the three available (Eco, Drive, Sport).

The headlight pattern has a similar design to a car where the hotspot is designed to illuminate your forward path and provide some lighting just ahead of you. It's better than other brands that prefer to have a spotlight. These lights are intergrated with the battery and have a negligible affect on it's range.::: Wet roads :::I took a downpour on my ride from work (I'm in Florida) and I didn't slip. My shoes gripped the rubber board well. And the internals were not fried due to water intrusion. This board is water resistant. So time will tell if it holds up.::: Charging :::Slow. It takes several hours. But that's okay, it's better for the battery. And if barely warms up. Any faster would reduce it's life span.::: Registration :::You need to register with the Segway app to unlock it's full potential. It's easy enough. But I had initial issues. I ended up connecting it through Bluetooth settings on my phone. Then connecting it with the Segway app. No issues ever since.

This is an excellent scooter. It's fast enough I can enjoy a nice ride around at my local park with lots of smooth walking/biking trails. I can also take it to work in 30 minutes. It feels like time flies by since I'm listening to music and staying alert with drivers around me. But be careful taking turns too sharply. These wheels are not designed for that. Take sharp turns carefully. This is the perfect beginner scooter for commuting to work. Giving it to your kids. Or just driving around. Do I have regrets ? Nah. This is the perfect entry level price to give you a feel for escooters and if you want to eventually upgrade. Though ... I'm having so much fun .. So for now, I'm good.
