It’s more affordable than the pricier Segway S-Plus, though the S-Plus does offer smoother turns and better overall movement. This model is lighter and flashier. However, the speakers aren’t very useful—you’re better off just using your phone. I might be biased because I’m used to good bass. The steering is slightly less comfortable than the S-Plus, with a smaller foot platform.I had to get rid of this one after wiping out twice—the second time, I ended up in the E.R. with my arm in a sling (thankfully not broken). The mobility this Segway provides is fantastic, especially with my muscle condition. However, this new model lacks pneumatic tires like my previous one, making the ride much rougher with more vibrations on uneven surfaces. I’m hoping to switch the tires for a smoother experience, but otherwise, I absolutely love it.

A blast for the entire family, with exceptional build quality. You’ll feel secure and confident thanks to its sturdy construction. The only downside is the speed limiter, but a plus is that this model can be connected to the Go-kart kit. We’ve only had it for a day and already can’t wait to ride it again. It’s been a perfect way to pass the time, especially during COVID. We’re still loving it and considering getting another one. Definitely a must-have!

I work in door-to-door sales, while my friends ride different Segway self-balancing scooters, and mine comes out on top. Why? Because the tires grip sand and grass like a champ! Its sensitivity is so good—the thing rips! Oh, did I mention the speaker? I made new friends with this thing because I pulled up on a squad on campus with the speaker, and suddenly, I became a chick magnet. This thing is beautiful and amazingly built. Even though it's rated for 11 MPH, I can push it to 13 MPH, and the beeping isn't annoying at all because you can turn the volume down and get a feel for its top speed to cruise down the city or bike path. Pros: The battery life is excellent. Handling is smooth, and it tackles steep inclines impressively. It also has a sleek design.Cons: The follow-me mode is disappointing with its limited range and lack of obstacle avoidance. The speed punishment or rock-back mode activates too early and takes too long to reset. The speed alarm is excessively loud and will annoy anyone within 50 yards. Unfortunately, Segway has become a lower-quality product since moving to China, compared to its original American-made quality.
I’ve never understood why these don’t come with kickstands. And so far I’ve found no aftermaket one that fits this version of the Ninebot. This deficiency is very inconvenient and awkward, especially for someone like me, who uses these as ADA personal mobility devices.
Once you master balancing, this thing is quick, and you can maneuver it easily. I snagged it for a great price on Black Friday and later sold it to a friend for a dollar, lol. Sometimes I wish I’d kept it or that they’d release a faster model that isn’t as pricey as the commercial versions.
I just bought the Segway and couldn’t be more thrilled! It offers a smooth ride with intuitive controls, making it a pleasure to use. The battery life is impressive, letting me cover long distances without concern. It’s ideal for commuting or simply exploring the neighborhood. The build quality is exceptional, giving it a sturdy and reliable feel. Highly recommend—five stars!
Exactly as described. It may take a few attempts to master the balance and steering, but overall, it’s fantastic. It’s slightly heavier than it appears, around 28 pounds, but as long as it’s kept charged, it’s perfect for short trips. It also works great for capturing action shots in my videography. The lights are decent, but I’d suggest adding some LED lights on yourself or your helmet for added safety.
