It’s so easy to install and I can still carry the scooter (ninebot max g30) with seat on. It’s very sturdy and hasn’t slipped on me going over rough terrain or train tracks. The suspension is amazing and I’m gonna say mandatory for longer rides, I usually go for 20+ miles and now I breeze down the road at 19 mph with zero hurt feet or anything!

I’m happy with the Segway seat. It was really expensive but worth it if you use it to commute. You can easily stand and ride as if it weren’t even there. Make sure to tighten the seat before use as mine was loose enough to move during my first ride. Tool is included.

I really like the seat when it's working. One problem is there is a single nut that keeps the seat from tilting backwards (or forwards) and it happens every few rides. I tighten it using a proper socket wrench (the included wrench almost stripped it) and then it's good for a while. Second problem, there is a plastic part inside the base stem. Mine got chewed up and when I adjust the stand it tends to pop out. It's fine, I just put it back in. But still it has a plastic part that's important to height adjustment?Otherwise it's made riding more fun. The scooter still folds completely with seat adjusted down and folded.

I am 200 pounds and that is probably a factor. Nevertheless the only way for me to use the seat is at the shortest height. I am 5'10" and it is not a major issue because I can still use it BUT I don't have the option of a higher seat. I will probably need to drill a couple of holes through the pipe and use a bolt to fix it to the height I need. That way it won't slip. After 9 months with the MAX, I have to say.....I'm soooooo glad that I bought this seat when I 1st got it! I'm now good standing up & sitting down...but when you need to sit down...it gives you great stability! I love it! The G2 Max is coming soon which has stock suspension, but this suspension seat post on the Max seat original does juuust fine! [G30P owner]!
This seat is awesome I go on long rides on my scooter. And would notice my legs would get tired from standing. With this seat I can ride standing and when my legs get tired. I can just easily take a seat and rest my legs and continue riding. This is another product that I wished I would of bought sooner. Seat is comfortable but I also added and extra gel seat cover to go on top for some added comfort. Over all excellent product very happy with the purchase
I actually prefer to ride without a seat, but I purchased this to serve as a mounting point for a child seat for my 3-year-old daughter, so that we can ride together. The child seat mounts to the seat post and provides a place for her to sit in front of me. This seat feels very sturdy and solid, as does the connection to the scooter, so I don't have any concerns about it wobbling or coming loose, even with the extra weight and torque of the attached child seat. The whole setup is quite comfortable.
I liked the Segway Ninebot Max G30LP Scooter but ended up returning it since my use case with the scooter included the seat. I tried ordering three of these seats from Best Buy and each one was defective. The clip securing the position for the post in the middle of the seat post didn't wrap all the way around to the column of the post and so it was loose and insecure. This resulted in the seat slipping down real low after riding for awhile. It got to the point where it was too low and so I would have to stop and adjust the seat several times during an otherwise pleasant ride on the Ninebot Max. Instructions explain well how to set up the seat but I had a hard time making time making it all work until I raised the scooter and supported it straight to fit the lower plastic pieces. The seat is extremely uncomfortable and with my weight the spring inside is practically useless. It is a seat, that's the only given.
