My wife bought me this watch as a replacement to my Apple Watch as I was tired of charging it every 6 hours so it wasn’t lasting a full working day. (I know I could have bought a new one)I became interested in watched when I got my first Tag Heuer Aquaracer in 2021. This watch will sit along side this and although it is a 42.5mm watch it wears on my wrist similar to my 40mm Aquaracer. The strap is a good quality which is very comfortable so for an everyday watch this is perfect.The clear case back is good if you are just new to mechanical watches as you can see how the movement works. I like this as I have an interest in Engineering so this is a cool addition.Overall a great watch that I hope will last me many years.

SEIKO watches has been a member of my family for a long time now. My dad owned a few and my moms favorite watch was an automatic watch given by my dad on their 25th anniversary. I have always wanted a sports watch that I could wear with me riding my mountain bike or doing kiteboarding in the sea water. Whether it’s snorkeling or playing golf, I find it very comfortable and stylish in my wrist. Plus the fact that it’s low maintenance as you don’t have to change batteries every now and then. A good brand and a great technology . I highly recommend this watch.

Beautiful Seiko diver watch. The blue color face is the perfect hue. The 42.5mm size of the whole watch face is a good size for a diver watch. Other diver's that I've tried on were 44mm or larger, which were to big for my wrist. This one was perfect for me. I did have to remove 2 links from the band for it fit my wrist just right. I wear the watch at the office, out on the town, special occasions, it practically goes with anything you wear and it's a solid every day watch. For the sale price I got this watch for, it was practically a steal. Very happy with it.

These aren’t really watches for everyday, they’re more fashion accessories, and the quality of the items reflects that: alignment is generally off, and the finish on the faces are poor and cheap (cheap posing as minimalism). The 5 is a different story: the bracelet is solid, resizing was easy as wink, the bezel and face are even more attractive in real life. I got this because I was looking for a nice, all black watch. The dial is a bit difficult to read, but it looks very cool. The watch itself is a nice build and looks great. The edges are a bit sharp, but it looks very clean. The strap looks great in photos, but it's very thin and feels cheap. As a result, it's hard to deal with and takes a while to put the watch on each time. The strap has a very long band and there is quite a bit of extra strap sticking out. I will definitely be upgrading the band. Given the build quality and the look of this watch, I am happy with the value.
This is a very solid entry level mechanical watch - a good entry point into the watch hobby. It's styled after the old Seiko SKX dive watches, which is a very iconic look. The dial is a nice sunburst, the handset is bold and attractive, the lume is amazing, the movement is solid, and I appreciate that even for a ~43mm case, this watch wears very well on small wrists like mine and doesn't look like a dinner plate on your wrist like a lot of cheap fashion watches at this price point. But it does have some negatives. I don't like the rubber strap at all - it feels cheap and looks odd with its faux mesh pattern, and I'm always fiddling with it. When I opened the box, I was a little disappointed in that the green was darker than what I had anticipated. It is a beautiful watch for the money - absolutely no doubt about that..Two other things that did not work for me were the weight for one. The chart which was under the picture of the watch had Light (weight) on the left and Heavy on the right. The bar went to about 1/3 leaning more towards light than heavy and that in not so. I held this next to my Rolex and this is not a light watch. It also sat a bit higher off my wrist than I liked. As rightfully iconic as the SKX is, Seiko's homage to itself with the new 5KX range literally gives you a better movement and build quality for half the money of an SKX. I also have no issue that these are 'only'100m WR, which is perfectly acceptable for 99.9 % of customers. If you want a proper ISO-rated 200m dive watch, get a PADI instead! I swapped the bracelet of this SRPD55K (swiftly supplied by the always friendly, professional and super responsive WD Customer Service team!) with Strapcode's bespoke jubilee to complete the SKX look. I also have the SRPD59K1 Seiko 5 'Pumpkin' as part of my collection. Thanks team , always a pleasure!
Watch arrived with 4 days DPD delay, watch was in wrong position inside the display box and glass and rotating bezel without pvc film protection probably same in the back watch----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Dear Max Gla,I am very sorry to hear of the issues with your order. I bought this watch to replace an old Seiko diving watch from the 90's. This watch is very similar with bright orange face and offset crown. This watch is the most accurate automatic watch I own. More accurate than my Swiss made $3000 chronograph. In two weeks it has lost less than one minute. The only problem is the crown, it does not screw down. Therefore, I can't wear it in the water. If I get this watch wet and accidentally rotate the crown I could get water inside. I won't even wear it in a swimming pool. So, nice watch but you should not get it wet. Use this one for dress up.
