SEIKO watches has been a member of my family for a long time now. My dad owned a few and my moms favorite watch was an automatic watch given by my dad on their 25th anniversary. I have always wanted a sports watch that I could wear with me riding my mountain bike or doing kiteboarding in the sea water. Whether it’s snorkeling or playing golf, I find it very comfortable and stylish in my wrist. Plus the fact that it’s low maintenance as you don’t have to change batteries every now and then. A good brand and a great technology . I highly recommend this watch.

Beautiful Seiko diver watch. The blue color face is the perfect hue. The 42.5mm size of the whole watch face is a good size for a diver watch. Other diver's that I've tried on were 44mm or larger, which were to big for my wrist. This one was perfect for me. I did have to remove 2 links from the band for it fit my wrist just right. I wear the watch at the office, out on the town, special occasions, it practically goes with anything you wear and it's a solid every day watch. For the sale price I got this watch for, it was practically a steal. Very happy with it.

Starbuy is probably the best online shop I have ever purchased from and I mean all products..big range and great brands. And the website is great..all product details and tech specs there and clear pictures as well..I ordered my watch on Thursday morning and I had it Friday afternoon And im interstate..the watch was exactly as stated and packaged really well ,got backup emails to check if product was good or anything I needed to ask . Accidentally posted this review on another watch that was very similar. Sorry about thatI purchased this watch a few weeks ago from a watch retailer in the mall. I originally went to get a quote to get my Citizen Drive(actually model name) cleaned and fell in love with the looks of this watch. It has been my almost daily watch ever since. Absolutely love it. It reminds me of Rolex watches 12 times the price, and actually affordable. Would recommend highly. It has been my almost daily driver watch ever since.
I purchased the 41mm green face watch as I have a Tag and a Rolex and have always liked Seiko's quality. Wanted a good looking watch for the everyday wearing. When I opened the box, I was a little disappointed in that the green was darker than what I had anticipated. It is a beautiful watch for the money - absolutely no doubt about that..Two other things that did not work for me were the weight for one. The chart which was under the picture of the watch had Light (weight) on the left and Heavy on the right. The bar went to about 1/3 leaning more towards light than heavy and that in not so. I held this next to my Rolex and this is not a light watch. It also sat a bit higher off my wrist than I liked. Awesome Watch, Japanese movement 24 Jewels, automatic movement with sweeping movement. When the watch is wind up you can turn the watch over on the backside and see the rotor moving something you only see with automatic movements. This Seiko Watch is epic, it will last the owner such as myself for life. I just love the color as well!
While slowly expanding my watch collection, I have always wanted a Seiko diver to just use as an everyday watch which would allow my better watches to stay safer. Out of the box, the watch itself looked great. Unlike other seiko divers that can have a misaligned chapter ring or bezel, mine was fine. However, less than an hour after taking the watch out of the box, it kept intermittently stopping. I have several manual wind and automatic watches, so I am familiar with winding it up or doing the Seiko shake to get it moving. However, even after being wound properly, it kept stopping. The mechanism is not working properly eight off the bat. As a side note, the bracelet does seem on the cheaper side, very light and rattly. This Seiko 5 SRPD51 is a keeper. It's amazing how much watch you can get for the money. While it's styled as a dive watch, are you really going to dive? If yes, check out the Seiko Prospex instead.The Seiko 5 feels really nice all around, both holding and wearing. There are no rough spots. The case is brushed on the top and polished on the sides, it's subtle but good looking. The rotating ring glides nice and smooth and stays put. I own or have owned various SKXs over the years. This version, the SRPD61, comes with a green dial and bezel and looks really good in various light conditions. The SRPD is the SKXs successor and while having the same case shape and similar specs its missing a few key elements that would have made this a better watch. 1. With only 100 m WR and no screw down crown, this is its biggest miss. While most people dont go diving with their watches its just good to know you can! 2. Bracelet clasp is bulky and I miss the jangly bracelets that were on the SKX. Overall, for $300 its decent value and will please a lot of people. However, every time I wear it I cant help but think of my SKX but I suppose thats not a bad thing. Cheers!
