Very comfortable to wear and sits nicely on the wrist. This seller is one of a kind. Phenomenal communication and very accommodating.

I love it. It literally just works.Nothing to recharge. No email or event reminders. Doesn't mind being very wet, and it glows in the dark.I replaced a 1969 Seiko turtle with this as the turtle is beautiful, but slowly becoming worn. Not bad running for 50 odd years.I have every faith that my grandson will be enjoying this watch in 50 more years.

What can I say about the vaunted Seiko Turtle that hasn't already been said? I bought this watch to be my everyday/summer watch. It's nice enough to not feel cheap yet it's cheap enough not to worry about. I think it's the best modern diver you can buy. What I like:- The styling- The color- The strap is actually nice- It keeps great time for the price. No, this is not a perfect watch but none are. Don't let the case width scare you. It wears wonderfully on my 7 inch wrist. I prefer the Turtle case over the SKX because it sits more planted on the wrist. It feels less like a hockey puck.

King Turtle - My First Seiko
27 January 2022

This is my first Seiko! I honestly shouldn't have spent this money but I wanted to have this for the next time i'm out in the snow or my camping trip to the appalachian trail in May or surfing in the summer. It really does inspire adventure. As soon as I put this watch on, the wearability of it shocked me. My only other dive watch is a Casio Duro which has smaller specs but wears significantly larger. With the King Turtle, they give you a dense, hefty, sturdy, reliable mechanical piece but with the illusion of smallness; it isn't distracting or obnoxious. I'm personally a big fan of the cyclops magnifier over the day/date window. And I love the touch of blue for the day of the week on the weekend. The bezel action? Like a knife through butter. The movement inside is a 4R36 automatic movement. To my understanding, it's basically the same as the Seiko NH35 movement but with the ability to hand wind and with the aforementioned day/date window. (Frequency may also be higher than NH35. I believe the 4R36 is 21,600bph) Sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel insert! Beautiful watch and i'm really enjoying it.

Men's Seiko 5 Sports - Automatic Bracelet Watch
10 October 2023

Wanted a seiko auto as an everyday watch. Wanted one which wasn't too lumpy, ie didn't want a Grandad clock on the wrist. Wanted one similar size ie diameter and thickness as the kinetic being pensioned off. Wanted one which was stylish but not flashy. Wanted stainless. So, got most of the wants, slightly bigger than perfect for me.Tis good. I'm pleased with my choice. Gains 4 seconds per day but WTH.

This is my second watch in the last two months from first class watches and what a great service they provide. A*I absolutely love this watch , the sunburst blue dial has to be seen in real life to appreciate how stunning it is.The strap wasn't great but I'm not a fan of metal ones anyway so I through on a vintage leather strap. The 40mm dial and 44mm lug to lug fits my 7"wrist perfectly. It's a Very comfy and lightweight watch with a slim profile and I love the 4 o'clock position of the crown.I'm very happy with my purchase and my dad now has this one on his list after seeing it. I think you know where he'll be getting it from.

Seiko 5 "Dress KX"
23 March 2023

I purchased this watch about a week ago, after having bought the Seiko 5 SRPG37 a month prior. I love my SRPG37 so much that I splurged and got this model too. This one did not disappoint either, although it does have one small flaw. I'll detail some pros before I go into the cons. The case size is perfect for my 6.5" wrist. The lugs are not too long and it will fit lots of straps easily. The lume is good and the centering of the dial is just about flawless. Time keeps well within spec for this movement, the one I got runs about +5 sec a day or a little more. Now for the not so good. My example has a very tiny scratch or blemish on the dial right by the "Seiko" logo, so small that it cannot be seen unless you're in direct sunlight, or when viewing under a loupe. Not a huge problem, but one I did notice almost immediately upon close inspection of the watch. The only other issue I have is with the bracelet, but I don't knock the watch for the bracelet at this price point. The bracelet is either too big or too small for my 6.5" wrist with only 2 points of micro-adjustment, I think 4 would be better. This may or may not be important, and I don't necessarily consider it a bad thing, but this watch is audibly "louder" than my SPRG37. The rotor can be detected in a quiet room, and the ticking is also louder than with my other Seiko 5. Not a problem, just something people may want to know. Overall I love the watch, This was a good buy.

Spectacular Diver With Some Historical Appeal

I never much fancied this particular Seiko model; the case never sat well with my design preferences. But I appreciated the historical roots of the watch and decided to get one for my collection. I'm glad I did. I find myself wearing it pretty regularly. The Turtle wears surprisingly well for a watch of its size. All-day comfortable and it doesn't overwhelm my 7-inch wrist in any way.I've worn it on several outdoor excursions already, and it's held up well to the rain, bumping, and bashing it's received so far. However, it seems similar to the band on my Seiko Arnie, and I wear that all the time with complete satisfaction.Lastly, Island Watch is always a pleasure to work with.

a bit dissappointed
13 January 2024

The watch looks and feels great and was a hit as a gift. One surprise: it wasn't indicated anywhere online, but the day indicator is Spanish! (Instead of mo, tu, we, etc, it displays lu, ma, mi, etc.) This is fine, esp since my husband speaks Spanish. Less fine: after being taken off for several days it stopped! We're going to look into exchange or repair, as the watch is so nice we'd like to keep, but it's disappointing.
