The SSC911P1 joins the Prospex Speedtimer collection. As with all Speedtimer chronographs, every detail has been designed to reflect the precision required for elapsed time measurement at the highest level. The chronograph seconds hand extends to the tachymeter markings on the edge of the dial. The minute hand at six o’clock and the central seconds hand are both red, allowing precise reading of elapsed time at a glance. The date window is positioned between the indexes so that the time is always visible. The timepiece is powered by Seiko’s solar caliber V192 which offers a 60-minute chronograph, a 24-hour subdial and, when fully wound, will run for up to six months without exposure to light. The smooth finish of the strap, combined with the domed sapphire crystal, gives the watch a classic yet sporty look.

This is a beautiful Seiko Speedtimer with the Silver Panda Dial. It is very comfortable and looks stunning. It has a slightly larger dial compared to the previous model release which looks much better on my wrist. One of my favorite grab and go Seiko watches with the convenience of Solar charging. So Far so good with the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer. And excellent lloking watch
its as expected, great watch for the £, unmistakably a Seiko, i like this series as the bracelets are better than pressed clasps from other Prospex etc.

If you think I am happy then read on. Just received this watch today - the SSC911P. model. It is in the sun for next 8 hours for a full charge.So you may ask why such an early review??? Simply because the aesthetics are so handsome in the flesh. The visual is very much mid to high end Swiss IMO, then look at the price point and the fact that it is probably the best Solar watch available to Australian buyer's under the $3K aud. mark: IMO anyway. I loved the 39mm version, and just thought the extra 2 or so mm. would make a difference, to my size requirements (average wrist size - I'm told!!) Who says size doesn't matter!! But here it is all the difference ,and the dial ,bezel etc. all seem to have had a great upgrade, right down the the applied, what I call ... MoreIf you think I am happy then read on. If you were going to be ultra picky and try and find even a small flaw it would only be the date aperture, and that is mainly the fact it has a black background, so it is noticeable, but that is, or would be a very personal objection. Not an issue for me, overall the watch is stunning. To be honest, I would prefer no date. I never can remember how many days in a month anyway!! Must be well over 10 watches from Starbuy over the last few years, always checking for their special deals, and they do not disappoint, easily the best place for Seiko and Citizen. Best customer support from Deepak and his team. If you make one good decision today then let it be "ordering this watch" !! Regards.

I have been looking for a top quality chronograph watch for several months and glad this was just released by Seiko. For 2022 they have updated and perfected the Speedtimer with a new silvery-white dial and updated design. An absolute stunning top quality watch, highly recommended!
This watch arrived promptly in perfect conditionAs expected the 41mm diameter dial is the best size for my wrist, it looks good enough to become the favourite of the 20 watches I currently have and cost considerably less than the $17.75 million it would take to buy Paul Newmans Rolex Daytona. GREAT looks, quality and price.
