I own several dive watches, Omega and Seiko and this is a great addition to the collection. It is absolutely gorgeous. The little details and craftsmanship are noticeable a mile away and it feels great on the wrist. It is a bit big but it doesn’t wear or feel big on the wrist. The bezel is also of great quality, and it feels similar to the Tudor Pelagos, but it can be a bit hard to turn sometimes. (I’ve had that issue with other Seiko -Skx007). Overall very pleased with this purchase and expect to have it in the collection for a lifetime.

So let's get the Quality Control issue out of the way, because this is a particularly nice timepiece and its a real shame that Seiko are not up to par on their QC. I'm referring here to the misaligned bezel. A common problem with Seiko divers from what I've heard lately. The misalignment is slight, and doesn't bother me, because this is a workhorse watch for me. That said, a company with such a proud heritage should not be allowing their timepieces out of the factory with this simple defect. Seiko, you need to read what some of your customers are saying and fire your QC manager. Back to the positives. Great size that works nicely on my 8" wrist but I'm sure will look fine on much smaller wrists. The face is striking with the waffle pattern. The Lume is very good, ... The crown action is smooth and the bezel clicks are satisfying with an easy turn. The black rubber strap is wonderfully soft with very nice buckles. That said mine is on a royal blue nato now. It's too early to gauge performance but early signs are positive. Should have been 5/5 but for the QC issues

As long as you wear it, it works perfectly fine. The watch stops though if it is taken off and sits for more than one day. Maybe this is normal. The watch is easy enough to set and wind and restart. Something to consider when purchasing. I have large wrists and it fits, but second to last hole used. A little tight, but last hole is too loose and tag end tends to get free of the loop when last hole is used. I like the watch and don't worry about wearing it in the rain or when fishing. I don't dive.

Great watch and got it super fast! It would have been great that I had known that signature confirmation was part of the delivery process. If I knew this info prior to ordering, I would have shipped it to my office. But because it went to my residence, I got the slip from USPS and had to wait on the long line to pick up my package. Other than that, no issues. But I had a concern about the crown and with reports from other buyers when first release of this watch in the USA was the misalignment of the crown or crown guards. No on really knows which but the crown was indeed misaligned on the first batch confirmed by another seller, not this one. However, I did ask this seller to please check and got a response, the same day indicating it is all good and has the Seiko ... MoreGreat watch and got it super fast! I own a few Seiko Prospex and this SRPB53J1 is amazing, it's made in japan. Automatic with date, screw down crown, you can wind the watch with the crown. The rubber band is very high quality and feels good on the wrist. The only thing missing and that should be standard all Prospex watch is a sapphire crystal. Note: The winding of the watch feels better on a J1 model than a K1 model. Why buy a Rolex, Omega or other overpriced watch when you can buy a Seiko Prospex for a lot less.
This watch was my second purchase from LIW. The watch is just beautiful, I love the blue color of the waffle dial and the blue and red Pepsi coin bezel. The overall quality of the watch is very good considering the price. you get a lot for the money. The crown operation is so smooth and quiet when manually winding and adjusting the date and time.
My wife bought me this watch about 8 months ago, and I gotta say it has been a joy to have on my wrist. For the price you really get a lot of watch. The rubber band is high quality, comfortable, and rugged looking. However, I personally opt for bracelets, so I bought an aftermarket strapcode hexad 316L stainless steel bracelet. It looks INCREDIBLE! Only thing that bugged me about this watch, is that it comes stock with seikos hardlex crystal. Basically hardened mineral. I replaced it with an aftermarket anti reflective sapphire crystal. However for a $500 (you can find them in the $300-$400 range in other places) watch I cant complain on little personal preferences too much. Great watch from a fantastic, respected, and honest company.
I purchased this watch in January, 2017. I've worn it almost 24/7, even while sleeping for almost two years. Overall I'm quite happy with it. My only complaint is that about six months ago it started running slow, after more than a year of being the most accurate watch I owned. Right now it is running 48-52 seconds slow per 24 hours, which is out of spec for the 4R35 movement and drives me nuts. Other than that, I love it and never have to worry about it. The accuracy issue is the only reason I can't give it five stars.I'm thinking of sending it back to Seiko for adjustment while it is still under warranty. I've not read encouraging things about Seiko's USA service, but I think in fairness I ought to give them a try. I hope they can fix it up for me, because I ... I bought this watch a couple of weeks ago and cant get over how nice this watch looks. It seems like a more expensive watch than it is. I own a few Seiko watches, including an Automatic Divers I bought in the early 90s that still works and looks great. Seiko lasts.
Everything about this watch is top notch. Style, function, comfort, accuracy and unique great looks. The dial color and layout are beautiful in a strong sort of way. The lume is outstanding - It lasts all night such that you can see it and read it when you wake up in the wee hours. The rubber strap is the most comfortable band I have ever worn.
