I don't think it was user error, however it didn't glue the plastic arm back on to a plastic sunglasses frame. I followed the instructions, primer it and then. Held the pieces together for a minute or so and they didn't even "grip".I clamped them and left them over night and the next morning there was a very flimsy join, which lasted 2 minutes before it completely fell apart again. The glue did stick two pieces of paper together and it also sticks to my fingers, but that is about it.I guess I will go an buy some super glue, which I was going buy in the first place.

I was looking for glue to fix plastic toys rather than throwing out more and more plastics. This is one of two products that actually bonds plastics together. Most super glue doesn't work but this does. Highly recommend.

First thing I noticed was that parts cannot be primed if there is not sufficient distance between broken parts to get the primer (marker type) tip inside. It does not state if it can be used without the primer.Secondly, the glue tube became solid after one use, even though I followed all the instructions on how to store it.Now just left with the primer and no glue.Total waste of money.

I've used this product before and it worked well, but not this time. Although I followed the instructions, unfortunately it didn't grip.
This stuff is fantastic. My daughter broke her headphones and they were pretty expensive, so didn't just want to check them away. The break was on a hinge so gets a lot of wear. I looked at a few adhesives and finally settled on this. After 30min, she has been using them again and they are holding their ground.
This stuff works well. Repaired very brittle plastic trim on console in my vehicle. Didn't hold much hope for it to work. It held even with the pressure I used to clip the trim back into place.
It did the job initially but then the toy broke again in the same place.The glue seems to just come out once opened and with out squeezing so a lot was wasted.
I recently purchased one Selley's Power Grip for plastics at Supercheap Auto, Campbelltown store. I used it to fix broken holder assembly for fog light and other broken bits - all plastics. Using it was a breeze and quickly fixed all jobs; no issues so far. Good value for money.
I was deeply suspicious of this glue. The packaging contained not a single reference to strong beasts or men (the metric by which I usually decide what glue I should purchase). No gorillas, no rhinos, no Hercules - nothing.The packaging did mention that it would glue plastic to plastic though - so I gave it a go.Using the glue, I was able to stick the broken part back onto my vacuum. 30 seconds later, it was back to sucking up dust like nobody's business. Now my house is all clean and my wife loves me again. Thanks Selleys!
I've tried this adhesive once before and got very poor results. I thought I'd give it another go thinking I may have applied it incorrectly. It failed again. I ended up using plain old super glue and the repair is holding up fine. This is the only Selleys product that has failed to perform for me. Maybe you will have better luck. I can't recommend it.
