It was porous on the faces of the crack and they were accessible.Surprisingly it wasn't successful. Crack came a part on day two after allowing two days to fully cure.Bought some Parfix Super Glue Adhesive at one third of the price......and it worked.

Excellent product. The glue worked well on the wooden piece of furniture.
Wanted this to build a wooden model plane. It worked perfectly. Very good value for money.
Unfortunately, the grip strength is not quite as advertised - corkboard to wood, which should be relatively simple, could not adequately hold and had to find an alternate way to set it.
It was notably worse than ordinary super glue when it came to metal (i.e. spectacle frames). Pretty disappointing.
This "GLUE" is not glue. Selleys should be ashamed of themselves.
Have used it on a few different surfaces (rigid and flexible) and very pleased with the results. The fact it is dishwasher safe tells me is fine on the external surface that is exposed to weather!
Used this glue to stick part of my boot somewhere it was coming away at the front.I followed the instructions to the letter but it would not stick back on to itself.There was no tackiness after the two surfaces joined, it was as if I had applied water to one surface and pressed them together....it just didn't stick at all.I also tried it on fabric to cardboard same result
