Sealed the shower base - good price and sealed well. Strong odour and takes 72 hours to cure (bit difficult when the family need to use the shower daily. The strange thing was that even though there are never any ants noticeable in the bathroom, after 1/2 a day, there were 50 - 100 ants eating the silicone (or getting high on it!) on the outside of the shower hob - very strange!

Whilst looks glossy and smooth after tooling off(experienced builder here) so disappointed after re doing my bathroom area, the silicone has turned into a cream color after a few months. Looks awful against a beautiful white shiny ceramic tile. Don’t buy this product for bathrooms if you think it will stay white!!! Disappointed

Despite careful preparation of shower base where a gap had appeared around the perimeter and a long drying period with fan heater, this product does NOT adhere to grout.However, it sticks to tiles and fingers really well.Shelley's say it's suitable for use in a shower. They don't say it adheres to grout. Where else in the shower would you use it?

I’ve brought many types of silicone but I definitely would recommend this product as the best! It’s a great consistency and looks stunning when set! Stands up to it’s wet area surfaces with not letting any water damage the final product! Honestly the best silicone there is!
It does get mouldy within 6-12 months. Dunlop brand does not!!! I have used both and Dunlop resist mould so much better. When I used Selleys I had to change the silicon every year it the areas that are constantly wet, around kitchen sink.
I recently had to repair our under bench sick which had detached from the bench top. With this it really sticks like glue and seals as well. No problem now all fixed.
Bought this less than 12 months ago for doing a small job in the bathroom. I've just opened the brand new packaging and is rubbery and hard, so unusable. It was kept on a cool dark shelf, so should have been OK. Not impressed that I've wasted my time and money.
Should have bought regular sealant. The old run your wet finger along the join does not work. Who makes sealant that needs turps for the clean up. Crap product. Do not buy.
These tubes show the colour of the silicone on the tube, but beware the off white silicone is different in shade to what the packing suggests. Otherwise the product is good, if the colour isn't important to you.
Used this for a few years.Had to redo regularly as all went mouldy.Used a different brand and have had no mould since.Rubbish product not mould resistant.
