Sennheiser AMBEO Sub

Will not link with soundbar either directly or indirectly despite multiple resets, and many hours of effort. I've owned other soundbars (JBL) that were much easier to navigate and install. This is an expensive piece of junk. I would love to return the whole thing and go back to JBL or Bose for ease of installation and use.

Essential purchase for your AMBEO Soundbar

Absolutely essential addition to the AMBEO MAX soundbar. It’s not just that the bass is cleaner, crisper and clearer. Adding this sub opens up the sound on the entire soundbar. Not sure why it makes such a huge difference, but it certainly does. Highest recommendation.

Great AMBEO sub!

This sub, albeit pricy, is a very nice complement to the (even pricier) Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar Max. While the soundbar, alone, has decent bass, this AMBEO subwoofer really adds to the experience, providing superior responsiveness and sound quality. I'm considering, and probably on the cusp of, purchasing a second subwoofer, one for each side of the room.

Great addition to the Ambeo Plus sound bar

If you have the Ambeo Plus or Mac sound bars, this is almost a must. While the sound bars do sound adequate on their own, this sub brings their experience to another level. I’m very impressed with it because it’s well balanced and not just overpowering low end.

If you like bass, buy something else.

For a $1000 Sub, you would think it would be able to handle almost anything you throw at it.I have the Amber Max soundbar and paired this sub with it thinking it made all the sense in the world - it didn't make sense.In movies, it did not deliver, in music, it didn't either.When playing music, do not turn the sub to the max (in the sennheiser app) - if you do, it will sound like a $100 sub.My suggestion if you have or are getting the Ambeo Max, please don't waste your money on this Sub, find something better for the same price or less.I've sold my sub and bought something else - a definite upgrade.

Sound good until I played it at loud volume. It start cracking and popping. It this price point that should not happen. Returned expeditiously and ordered the svs sb1000 pro instead to go with my sennheiser max soumdbar.

Lip Sync

Soundbar and sun sound amazing. Can't say enough good things about them. The app has a lip sync feature but it's a little frustrating as it's near impossible to get the audio/video synced perfectly. Hopefully future firmware updates will provide more flexibility in resolving this issue.

Not as good as hoped, not worth the money.

After being pleasantly pleased by the Max, I bought this to pair with it. Unfortunately the bass from it is underwhelming. I watched the John Wick movies and some of my other favorite room shakers…but there was barely any shake. It was as if I didn’t add the sub. App shows all green and the indicator on the sub is green. Setup with the app was simple.

Not as impressive as B&W sub

Not as impressive as my B&W subwoofer but definitely needed to enhance the audio listening experience. Sennheiser soundbars have decent subwoofer so this is optional but for enhanced experience, definitely get this

Pricy, but a good subwoofer.

I purchased this subwoofer to go with a Sennheiser AMBEO sound bar and am very satisfied with the purchase. I read a few reviews that were somewhat critical of this speaker, but that has not been my experience. It delivers good bass without being overwhelming. When paired with my soundbar, it really helps round out the listening experience. Setup is relatively simple as there are only two inputs, one of which was the power cord (the other is a single RCA plug).
