Sennheiser IE 100 Pro In-ear Monitoring Headphones (Clear)

Bottom heavy. Poor high-frequency response. Connected to headphone output of MG10XU, IEM does not faithfully reproduce mixer input. I get a getter response from $20 Woolies phone kit. Expected better from Sennheiser. Fortunately, although it's overkill, I have a spare VE20 to EQ it through. Shouldn't have to, though.

Love the product. It gives a clear and clean sound and also enhance the quality in the environment I’m using it.

Fantastic Bluetooth wireless headphones

Great sounding Bluetooth headset with handsfree mic. They are as good as a wired set! The mic is great in quiet environments but a noisy office and in the street it can be a bit too sensitive.

Good but not good enough

My skull candy earbuds are louder with more bass for half the price and I had to buy a jack extension to plug into my phone. They do seem to be of good quality though.

Good, clean, clear audio in a versatile setup

I had been looking for a replacement for my old, much-loved IEMs that I've been using solidly on productions for the past few years, as they have had quite a hard life at that time. After various site searches and review reads, I stumbled across an ad for the new Sennheiser IE 100 Pros. I've used various models of over, on and in-ear units from Sennheiser, and in their pro range, always liked the build and audio quality. The version I got is the Bluetooth kit option as this extends my options of what I can use them with. Switching from the wired to the Bluetooth option is really straightforward, and the connection seems pretty solid. With the Bluetooth option, pairing is really easy and with my initial tests playing some reference audio and several music tracks, the sound is full and rich and with the right buds they naturally kill a lot of background noise too. With the wired option, dialogue is even and exactly what I'd expect the output to be from my selection of mics. All in all, these in-ears will get a lot of use across different environments and production types and even for casual listening and for the price I really I can't really fault them at all so far. My only criticism at this point is that many other IEMs around this price do come with a slightly better, safer storage option that the little (slightly undersized) pouch provided.

Great for Sleeping.

Not their intended purpose but they are great for listening to ASMR or other soft sounds prior to sleep.Very comfortable in the ear and on the pillow.

Length is the only issue

When wearing the Bluetooth piece the wire is too short so the battery and controls hangs from your ears instead of resting on your collar bone making it uncomfortable and annoying.When using the wire, I have to bring my interface really close to me on my desk due to a short cable length.The sound is incomparable to all my other in-ears

No substitute for quality

You get what you pay for, and when it comes to monitoring audio input for video, the abolity to keep the earbuds in your ears and hear what the microphone is delivering are important.

Sennheiser ie 100 pro

Item recieved as described, ear tips included were not a good fit so bought some large INAIRS memory foam tips which did the trick. Sound quality comparable with my beyerdynamic dt770 over-ear headphones which means excellent, very comfortable to use and I don't normally get on with earphones but these are definitely the exception.

send me love of classical music

I have no knowledge about headphones or any audio electronics. I just need a decent wired in-ear headphones for listening to classical music. Wired because it's annoying and inconvenient having to charge it when I need to use it at the moment. In-ear because I wear eyeglasses and all the over-ear headphones cause extreme discomfort. And I am sick of those cheaply made earbuds online. I never even heard of IEM until this purchase, and I am glad I bought this. I listen to orchestra symphony a lot, also pieces by single instrument. I could tell all sounds collectively and individually well, imagine I am in the audience inside the concert hall and I can shift my attention anytime to the oboes, French horns, cellos...etc. I can feel like I sit next to the grand piano ... MoreI have no knowledge about headphones or any audio electronics. I almost cried the first time I put this on to listen to the classical music recordings on YouTube. Sorry for not being to offer any professional and technical analysis on this product. This is all I could say about how happy I am. well worth the money.
