Sensodyne Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste 100g

I unfortunately have broken teeth, which the dentist cannot take out under local anaesthetic, and I have found that brushing with Sensodyne Repair and Protect once a day seems to form a hard layer over the broken surfaces, that seems to be able to prevent infections from getting in through the broken surfaces. Sensodyne Repair and Protect is supposed to form a hard layer over sensitive areas where the enamel has been worn away, and I thought it might also form a hard layer over the broken surfaces, and this seems to work. Sensodyne Repair and Protect is supposed to form a hard layer over sensitive areas where the enamel has been worn away, and I thought it might also form a hard layer over the broken surfaces, and this seems to work. However I do not use my teeth for eating at all, I live on a sort of porridge made from breadcrumbs and gravy made from gravy granules, with cheese melted into it and some olive oil mixed in, and I can suck pieces of chocolate, and folded pieces of cheese slices, like sweets. Also some plain yoghurt. I take one multivitamins and minerals supplement tablet per day, that provides 100% of all required vitamins, and a large percentage or 100% of some required minerals. I have been keeping infection out of my broken teeth by brushing them once per day with Sensodyne Repair and Protect toothpaste, for about 2 years now. Following advice from a dentist, I don't rinse after brushing, and wait an hour after brushing before eating or drinking anything, so as to let the toothpaste do its work.

I have been struggling recently with new sensitivity o my my teeth. Thought something was wrong but at my last dental check everything looked great so my dentist suggested looking into toothpaste specifically designed for sensitivity. I chose this one cause I’m a daily coffee and wine drinker and wanted to make sure the sensitivity toothpaste didn’t let my teeth get stained! This stuff worked so fast! After just one use I noticed such a difference and didn’t have pain drinking cold drinks! The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because it’s not as good at whitening as other whitening toothpastes. But I still would t go back to using anything else!

This product is perfect for those days when I have to get up early but did not have time to wash my hair the night before for that morning I love this product to help it look like I spent a lot of time doing my hair. What I do is I’ll wash my hair that morning and then dry it as much as I can with a towel so it is more damp because you don’t want it dripping wet and then I just spray some of this gel in my hands, rub my hands together, and let’s run it through mainly the ends of my hair and then stay do a scrunching motion with it to this number curls look more defined and just look prettier and will hold for the rest of the day. It is very affordable, very easy to use, and it does have a smell but it’s kind of like a hairspray smell so if you use a hairspray and all that stuff anyways then I don’t think the smell will bother you. I use some “natural” toothpastes like David’s and Risewell and charcoal, but my main toothpaste is this exact one from Sensodyne. I have sensitive teeth and sometimes they will flare up if I drink something too cold or for whatever reason. I go to the dentist regularly, so I don’t have any “issues” it’s just nerves and honestly my skin is very sensitive and reactive- my whole body is a pain in the ass…lol! I’ve tried other brands of sensitive toothpaste including versions made by Crest , etc. and they just do not work. The only one that has worked is Sensodyne. The rapid relief is semi- new. It came out a little before the pandemic and it’s now the only one I use. I have been using this Sensodyne repair and protect for just over a week. The paste is quick thick - thicker than normal. After the first use my mouth was left feeling nice and fresh. This is a nice change from the original Sensodyne toothpastes. I like how it isn’t a gritty baking soda type leftover feeling but literally squeaky clean - yes I did the finger rub over the teeth test to hear a squeak. The sensitivity I’ve been experiencing for sometimes is gradually easing with continued use. I am able to enjoy a glass of ice cold water again. I was left with sensitive teeth after having a deep filling a couple years ago. For me the extra fresh feeling is what has made this a firm 5 stars from me. Definitely my new daily toothpaste.

It is not an extreme overnight whitening toothpaste. Most whitening toothpastes cause sensitivity and this one helps relieve sensitivity while providing gentle whitening overtime. I was told by my dentist to get sensodyne toothpaste for the sensitivity in my front teeth. I was told the best way to see improvement was to rub the toothpaste onto your teeth and allow it to sit for a few minutes before brushing. It has helped a lot. I also love that it gives the gentle whitening that doesn't hurt my teeth. In the past I used regular whitening toothpastes and it caused major sensitivity issues. I have this as my at home toothpaste as well as my travel toothpaste for my invisalign.

Great product for maintaining oral health

I have been using Sensodyne for many years and can honestly say it has made a huge difference in my oral health. It is easy to use and the results are immediate. After just a few days of using it, I noticed a decrease in the sensitivity in my teeth. It also helps to strengthen my enamel and make it more resistant to staining. The taste of the toothpaste is mild and pleasant and it leaves your mouth feeling refreshed. It also has a pleasant smell that makes it enjoyable to use. I definitely recommend Sensodyne for anyone who has sensitive teeth or gums. It is a great product that can make a big difference in your oral health.

No Potssium Nitrate, yea!

I have always had bad experiences with all sensitive teeth toothpastes due the potassium nitrate. This chemical is too strong my the delicate tissue in my mouth and I cannot use it consistently. This toothpaste has no potassium nitrate! The active ingredient is stannous fluoride. I can use this everyday for weeks without ever having an issue. Also, the addition of a whitening ingredient may help to offset any potential staining which may occur with the use of stannous fluoride. This toothpaste is a win-win. 5 stars!. And yes, it does provide very quick relief. There is only one problem however, I do have difficulty getting this exact formula.

Terrible canker sores

Love the sensodyne brand, but this particular one has been giving me horrible oral swelling and canker sores all over my mouth. My tongue has swelled up to the point that I'm gnawing it when I sleep. My cheeks and puffy and my gums are forming new sores every day. I just went to Florida so I assumed the issue was traveling, maybe caught a bug from being somewhere new... Been fighting this issue for a month now. Luckily it came to mind the issue started when I bought the toothpaste for the trip. If your mouth is prone to canker sores, do not use this product. Find a toothpaste without SLS. It's effective and it works for my teeth, but the gum sores are unbearable.
