BRING THE OLD FORMULATION BACK!! 😭

Received this blush as a gift and immediately realized the packaging was different than the other shade I have. This blush is glittery and almost every color has shine in it. The OG formulation had great colors andgreat build up, could go from sheer to fully pigmented on the cheeks.

I ordered the shade Second Chance in the old formula 2 weeks ago. Instead of sending me what I ordered Sephora sent me some random retractable eyeliner. Weird. So I go to order another one and find out it's discontinued and replaced by this new blush range? Hey Sephora, bring back Second Chance. It made for a great contour. And while you are at it, please bring back the Sephora Collection bronzer in shade FIJI :)

I debated buying this for a while. I use 98% Sephora Collection products as they work really well, are made well and the prices are unbeatable for quality. The reviews for the blush made me doubt if it would be worth it. In my opinion the negative reviews aren't correct. This blush is pigmented and a little goes a long way. I love the Free Spirit shade and am waiting for the hot purple one to come back in stock. It has a gorgeous glow!!!!

My favorite powder blush- others are lying!!!
30 April 2023

I've been using this blush instead of rare beauty for a couple weeks(my rb one got mold), and I love it! I have dark skin and it's so pigmented on my skin. The only reason for the low rating is because people aren't rating the actual product SMH. It's so good, I recommend! (PS. it lasts all day!

Review the product not missing shades
22 April 2023

I purchased #27 Spiced Copper but after seeing the rating I was a little nervous. Most of the reviews are people missing older colors. That has nothing to do with the actual one they purchased. #27 is definitely dark skin friendly and does NOT have glitter. There is a sheen but no shimmer or glitter. Unlike other reviews there is pigmentation. If you are comparing to Haus Labs or Rare Beauty of course you will be disappointed. But for under $20 and the color pay off, you can’t beat it.

Self Made 52
21 April 2023

I have a couple of these blushes in the old packaging and I absolutely love them. The shade LoveChild I actually completely used up so I went to order another one and I see now they are in different compacts with different shades. I like matte so I chose the shade Self Made. When I opened it I thought it was going to be way too light on my medium-tan skintone, but it's not! It's a very pretty neutral natural shade, kind of like nude-y pink. I love these blushes for the price, they remind me a lot of the Gucci blushes. If you're looking for a nice neutral "everyday" kind of blush, that will go with any eye makeup or lip color, Self Made is a really pretty shade. Even looks pretty as an eyeshadow.

Terrible - zero pigment!
20 April 2023

This was severely disappointing. I purchased this blush in "So Shy" during the Sephora Sale and I will be returning it. It says "colorful blush" on the packaging, but I'm left wondering.... what colour?! Absolutely ZERO pigment. For comparison purposes, pictured in my review photos are "So Shy" vs my recently purchased "Nudist Society" by Wet n Wild. If you're left wondering where on my forearm I have swatched So Shy.... squint really hard and you may be able to see the slightest hue of pink above "Nudist Society". Bottom line, don't waste your money on this!

Too dry and glittery...
21 April 2023

This is one of the very rare times when I have to leave a negative review for a Sephora Collection product but here it is...I ordered the color Free Spirit, thinking that it would have a similar texture to the Shame On You (before these got repackaged) which I have and enjoy. Now this Free Spirit one is not at all what I was expecting. It is dry, very hard-pressed, and contains large particles of gold glitter. I don't know if you could tell by the picture I'm including with my review but this glitter is especially visible in natural light. The color is somewhat of a coral peach. I was expecting it to be more on the peach side, tbh but it's fine. The Shame On You from the previous collection also contained some glitter but that was micro glitter, the kind that's ... MoreThis is one of the very rare times when I have to leave a negative review for a Sephora Collection product but here it is...I ordered the color Free Spirit, thinking that it would have a similar texture to the Shame On You (before these got repackaged) which I have and enjoy. I was expecting it to be more on the peach side, tbh but it's fine. The Shame On You from the previous collection also contained some glitter but that was micro glitter, the kind that's almost unnoticeable on the face. This one almost makes it look like you have fallout from a glittery eyeshadow you applied earlier or something like that... The only improvement is the packaging because this one is much easier to open. I'm not sure if it can be depotted like the ones in the older collection but it's only one tier, so you don't have to struggle to make sure you don't open the second tier and the refills end up flying out of the packaging. And even if glitter on your face doesn't bother you, the texture of this blush is weird. It's dry in a way that when it goes on your face, it doesn't sink into your skin and kind of accentuates all the imperfections, giving extra texture to your skin.I'd say that unless there is a color that is unique to you and you just need to have it, skip this one...

Very Underwhelming
28 April 2023

I have a Sephora Collection blush in Hot Flush, and when I saw that they had new packaging and new shades, I was so excited. I purchased 5 of the new shades. After they were delivered, I was so excited and swatched them. That's where my excitement ended. They changed the formula, and not for the better. They are very hard-pressed. The old formula was creamy. These are chalky feeling, and if you want pigment to show up for a simple swatch, you have to swirl your finger around and press down a fair amount. Out of the 5 shades I purchased, which were Shame on you, Sweet on you, Shine bright, Flirt it up, and Over the top. Shame on you was the shade i was the most excited about. Sweet on you is workable with a beautiful subtle sheen. Over the top is a flat matte and workable, and Flirt it up is chalky and hard pressed, but it is a dupe in color to Cherish by Pat McGrath just without the sheen. I am so disappointed 😞. I am so glad I purchased other blushes from other brands. Hopefully, they will listen to their customers and change the formula back to the old one, but I doubt it.

why the bad reviews???
29 April 2023

I ordered "self-made" as I wanted a more mute nude colour on my cheeks. I didn't expect it would be the best but got it on sale. PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! I was first underwhelmed when I saw the colour upon opening, but once I tried it on, it had the pigment, blendability and look I wanted! so I decided to get a second blush in "hey jalousy" and I can confidently say that I am HOOKED on these blushes!
