Sequence - Board Game

I absolutely LOVE this game and so does my 11yr old and older nieces and nephew. My only complaint is the new design is terrible for visual reasons. The font is so hard to read at a distance and the smaller size of the card images makes it hard for my older eyes to tell the difference between the spades and clovers. The original design was so much better!

An appreciated gift

This game has been enjoyed at our monthly game night for years. My niece and so-in-law had only recently learned of it and liked it. So they were tickled to receive their own game.The fact that this game can be as much fun with two players as with two couples made it an even better gift.If you like games of strategies, this is one you will enjoy for a long time.

Great family/friend fun!!!

Very pleased with purchase and came way quicker then expected! It was packaged nicely and showed up with no damage! I ordered 2 different sequence games off Amazon and returned both of them as the playing cards and board weren't to the original spec. Meaning the cards had the numbers on all 4 corners and the suits are all bunched up. This made it hard for some of my family members to make it the cards on the board. chips were thiner as well. Nothing beats the original.

Great game but cheap cards

This is the classic sequence game which you know and love. The foldable player board is sturdy and the chips are fine. However the cards included with this set are paper thin and hard to deal. The thinness of the cards make it hard to shuffle and hard to keep separated while in your hand. I replaced the cards with two of my own decks. I could play this game for hours.

Great game!

This is a great game to play with a nice group of 4 . We had 6 people and it was really fun to play for adults. Game lasts long enough to pace your shots if you’re playing with dat good good.I also wanted to give a shoutout to the really “not so smart” folks who leave bad reviews based off damaged products. Go return it or exchange it. Things happen in life buttercup. Otherwise you can just get off your ahss to the store and buy one that’s not damaged. Highly recommended. In my opinion, great for three players (or teams) but can be played with two players (or teams) as well. The contents are the game board, two decks of cards and three sets of game chips.There's about one page of instructions and I highly recommend investing 3-5 minutes reading it over to understand how gameplay works. Although luck is a factor, there's still some element of strategy and planning in game.I wish I had bought this game much earlier. I like how it brings the family together. It's simple enough that it's inviting to new comers whether they are children or adults. I especially recommend if you've played something like Connect-4 with two players and wished there was a three player variant. It's not quite the same as Connect-4 as ... MoreHighly recommended. Not In A Tin, As Was Described

Be aware that Walmart has this item mismarked online. I purchased it specifically because it stated that it was "in a tin" (see attached image). I was sent the normal version in the cardboard box, which I already have, and don't want. Also, the one in the cardboard box sells here for$13.99. The one in the tin (that I was supposed to get) was marked $17.99. I'll be returning. :( I'm only writing this review so that hopefully, someone else won't purchase it expecting the tin. To Walmart: You need to fix this listing.

Super Fun

I am truly impressed with the quality of this sequence board game. I remember growing up this was one of my favorite games because I felt like an "adult' when my parents would let me play it with them. I had not played this game in years but once I pulled it out, remembering how to play all came back to me. This is a super fun, super easy to learn game but also requires a strategic type of play. Within a couple of minutes I was able to teach my kids to play and now it has became one of their favorite games as they are constantly asking me to play with them. The board is really well made and I love the chips are plastic so when they get dropped I do not have to worry about them getting broken. good all round family game

Got this for my sister for a Christmas present to use with her grandkids (her husband) and my daughter.She enjoyed it, daughter thought it was ok, but not as exciting as she likes. She like fast paced action not so keen on the strategy and thinking and planning games.Requires some thinking and strategy, but not too much.Can be used with anyone over 7yrs old. I think more so for slightly older kids - maybe 10+.Adults playing each other could be entertaining and competitive. Adults playing the kids = help them learn and develop logic and strategic thinking and patterns. You don't need to thump the kids, let them win at least as much as they lose to develop their confidence and skills. Beat them when they get better :)
