Cheap and not so cheerful.Purchased because I'd had chocolate and peanut butter previously, the latter being the better so decided to try this flavour (cookies and cream) it was also on offer. It smells awful, doesn't taste any better either and by far the worse one to date. Purchased due to serving size/protein amount Vs low sugar etc but unfortunately won't be purchasing again. I think after 3 different tubs and not being overly satisfied taste wise I've more that given it ample testing.

Product turned up without the Lid on. Powder everywhere including my carpet. Sent pictures in email and then spoke to women on the phone who said we can give you 35% back or you can return. When I explained it will go every where when I move it she told me ‘we often get them cracked at the bottoms and people send them back’!Line cut out and I had an email from the company saying they offer a 15% refund!Clearly have this happen a lot!Tried this product for first time and won’t be using them again. May be cheap but you buy twice!Poorest customer service i have had.

This is a good product for people looking for a cheaper alternative to buying bulk/myprotein and other such brands. The problem for me was that as its made from whey protein concentrate (not whey protein isolate) this contains significantly more luctose and other chemicals that come from cows milk. This allows the product to be cheaper (I purchased mine at £30 for 5KG) but unfortunatley makes the taste not that great, and for me I have minor stomach issue with the amount of Luctose in the mixture. If you have no problems drinking cows milk you will be fine, but if you do stick to whey protein isolate based products.

Value-wise this is incredible! The strawberry product smells absolutely amazing and mixes very easily. My only slight niggle is that the flavour doesn't quite live up to the smell, not quite enough of a punch. It's great mixed on its own with water or milk, and is nice as a post workout recovery drink with dextrose and creatine, but doesn't quite have enough flavour to hold its own when mixed with oat powder for a between-meal snack.However.... At this price I really shouldn't be so picky!

The protein is a proprietary blend so you don't get much information. What you do get is that it contains whey protein concentrate (which typically has about 80% protein and gets into your system within 1.5 hours. Whey isolate is faster at about just over an hour). Casein (which takes about 4 hours to digest). Soy Protein Isolate (which takes about 3 hours to digest). Then there is the Glutamine which is very low cost which can be used to spike protein powders to give high protein readings. When in actual fact they are not. Many protein companies do this to a certain extent. Here we know they have added a protein filler, but no idea just how much. Basically the only way to know this is to send it to a lab for testing. Many protein companies do this to a certain extent. Here we know they have added a protein filler, but no idea just how much. Basically the only way to know this is to send it to a lab for testing. Many labs have found that although the manufacturer has stated it is 80% protein it can to as low as 40%. So, you cannot believe what the label says. However, there are few red flags you can check. 1) How well does it mix? The better it mixes the less filler it will have. 2) most fillers like Glutamine will drop to the bottom when you add it to water. Thus, adding the protein powder in a clear glass and watching how much of the powder falls to the bottom will be an indication of how good the protein powder really is.OK, I have checked how it mixes and it mixes about average, so that is a good sign. On the drop and float test, it also did good. Most of the powder floated. I must say I didn't expect that. So no obvious red flags. I would estimate the level of protein per 100g would be between 63 to 79%. So not bad. As far as taste goes, casein and soy do not taste very nice and I suspect they account for over 60% of the protein powder. Thus, the reason it does not taste too good. I would add some coffee to the choc flavour. Also, the texture is a little like flour (due to the soy). If you soon get tummy problems the amount of glutamine and soy may give you some stomach problems. This is just the nature of these ingredients.I would say this product it good value for the money, but it is not always kind to your stomach and tastes pretty bad. Also note this will not work like a whey protein. it will take 2 to 4 hours or over to digest. So good to take in the morning or night or midday, pre workout. But not recommended for post workout (you need 100% whey).Hope this has helped you.

This is a BIG tub, like a B&Q paint bucket, but it comes with a curved flip-up handle, just like a bucket. Thats 1 star. This is 80% protein with a whey/casein mix, so you get both rapid and slow release uptake, covering both protein bases. Thats 2 stars. Its 4kg of protein for £30! Thats 3 stars. Its caused no bloating, digestive issues or "trumpet bum". Thats 4 stars.First taste had a strange, almost soap like flavour, similar to when you have a cup of tea, but you didnt rinse all the washing up liquid off the cup properly. Second taste wasnt quite as bad, but a long way from strawberry. Bit clumpy when mixing in a shaker, maybe need a blender sometimes. - 1 star.Very good for the price and if they crack how to do strawberry flavouring, thats 5 stars!p.s, ... MoreThis is a BIG tub, like a B&Q paint bucket, but it comes with a curved flip-up handle, just like a bucket. Works perfectly well

I switched to this protein a couple of years ago and I continued to progress as I was before so there's no doubt in my mind it's decent quality. It's a blend and around 80% protein which is higher than most brands. It astonishes me when people go on about flavours, this is a bodybuilding supplement not a milk shake! Do any of these people know what professional bodybuilders used to blend up before protein powder became available?! As I say, it works and it's extremely good value, job done.
