This book is so helpful my daughter borrowed it. I have bought her one for Christmas so I can get mine back. Great for beginners and experienced sewers as a reminder.
Sew Step by Step is a great book for anyone who wants to learn to sew. It includes everything from basic equipment, reading patterns, seams, fasteners, sleeves and much more. Having looked at dozens of books in many shops, I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning how to sew.
I love this book what I don't love is the gross old price label stuck to the cover that I can't get off and has now left a horrible sticky mess on the front. No mention of that in the listing. But the book itself is fabulous.
Wish I had bought this book before I undertook a few sewing projects! There is a lot of information in here and the instructions are all very clear. It’s great for a beginner sewer since a lot of videos online can assume you already know a lot of the terms!
Awesome reference book for beginner and advanced seamstresses, gives detail to every aspect of sewing. I ordered one for myself and I have been sewing for over 25 years. You can never have too much fabric or reference books. Everything about this book is perfect and well worth the money. Thank you for such a comprehensive and well detailed book with heaps of photos to give confirmation to what is being written inside the book. I totally recommend this book to all seamstresses whether your beginner or advanced, always handy to have. Thanking you again.
Absolutely love this book!I did a short dressmaking course a few years ago and needed a quick refresher on some techniques. This is is logical, easy to follow and has really clear images. I love that it's not too small either and it makes it really user friendly.It's really helped me get my project started and will hopefully continue to help until completion.
I bought this book as i have just started a dressmaking course, this is the best book i have seen so far, I love the fact that it has coloured pictures and clear instructions that are easy to understand. Gives information on every thing you need. The book includes over 200 valuable techniques. It includes items such as accesories needed for a sewing machine, ,Threads to use,different types of fabrics,how to read a pattern, making sleeves,different hemming techniques,zips,waistbands,pockets,darts,pleats,and so much more. I would highly reccommend this fantastic little book for the beginner or anybody wanting to brush up on there sewing skills you wont be dissapointed.
