The unpacking was easy and easy to put together the handle, rod and lower body, following the enclosed booklet instructions and details. It took no more than three minutes to open and set up. This mop works well for the price. It puts out enough steam and is easy to use. I appreciate the swivel head. Like others have said, the mop could benefit from a longer cord. If this one lasts two years, I will be very happy with the purchase. My only disappointment was the shipping. I wavered between buying at Amazon or Walmart. The Walmart price was a little less. I purchased with the expectation that the mop would arrive in two days - just as the website said. I got an email saying my order was delayed. A week later, I got it. More stars if the mop had shipped and arrived as expected. Amazon would have delivered within two days.

There were so many reviews that talk about having to PUMP the mop and that it can be a hassle, and a short cord. I bought it bc of price thinking I can return if not happy,since I live 3 miles from Walmart. Wow! This mop is EXTREMELY EASY! I am 50yo with severe push/pull/lift disability, and it is a BREEZE! I don't get why the pump action is even a problem. I have 4 floors of various sizes to use this on. The cord is perfect length for my kitchen, both bathRms, and large laundry room. The water container has a nice sized opening and easy to add water. The container is easily removable. Just snaps out and right back in without much effort at all. I do all my floors and still have water in the container. I have seen reviews where some say a drawback is there is no on/off button. Here's what I see: I plug it in when ready to use, wait 30sec or so, mop, and the floor literally dries before my eyes! So, as long as I plug it in as far away as possible from the mop area, there is no issue to need an on/off button anyways! I simply unplug it and go to the next area. This is the most SIMPLE, EASY mop I've even owned or used! Can't say it much plainer than this! I will NEVER spend another penny on another mop, nor invest in a more expensive one as long as I can get my hand on one of these! Oh, and it only takes ONE HAND to use!!! I bought this approx one month ago and no issues with how it works. It stays upright, so i don't have issues with it falling over. It maneuvers different directions easily. Oh, I have seen ppl say they had to buy an attachment to get corners. Here is what I do: I pump it and just let it sit as close to the corner as possible for about 30 sec. Usually that does it! If not, then the second time it's complete . So, no need for me to buy extra attachments. Honestly, I spend approx $40 every 3-4months for cleaners, not to mention the chemicals. NEVER AGAIN! So after my initial purchase, even if it only lasts one yr, it will still save me at least $80 the rest of the year, and NO CHEMICALS, AND IT WORKS GREAT! For me, it's a win, win, and win again! I am truly GRATEFUL for this mop! Also, it came with one mop head that is Velcro. I bought 2 additional mop heads at Walmart ($10 ea/approx). The mop heads are sooooo easy to use and stay put on mop so far,including the one that came with the mop. Since I have trouble bending, here is a tip if you have physical problems: Just drop the mop pad on the floor and sit the mop on it. Then step on the tab on the pad and pull mop up. Have a grabber handy to pick it up out of floor. I hand wash so Velcro lasts longer.

I mop the first floor, refill the tank and carry it upstairs to mop the second. The entire process takes about 15 minutes for hardwood and tile floors in my home. The mop leaves the floor feeling warm and damp but it cools/dries very quickly no lingering residue. I haven't noticed any streaks or scratches either. Functionally, the mop is great. I owned an earlier version of this steam mop and loved it. This one is very similar with a few notable exceptions. The water tank removes from the mop for filling and emptying...that is much nicer than hauling the entire mop over the sink. The pad (yes, singular...multiples would've been nice) attaches by velco. The earlier version of this mop, the pad was a sleeve that slipped over the frame...much more secure and allowed for two sides of cleaning surface -- not a good change. The overwhelming source of my displeasure is the power cord. It is the most laughably, ridiculously, uselessly short thing I have ever encountered on a piece of equipment that is designed to be mobile. Love the Shark Steam Mop. My previous Swiffer Steam Boost broke so had to replace it. Looked at all Steam Mops out there. This one had great reviews and Walmart’s price was a lot cheaper then anywhere else. Just used for the first time. Love it, cord 18 ft, long size which is important, reusable microfiber pad, removable water tank. My previous one didn’t have any of these extras. It it cleaned GREAT, mop pad shows how great. Very easy to maneuver, and lightweight. Now I’m happy other broke!

We don't have a huge home so it is perfect in terms of storage and ease of use. We found the cord pleanty long enough although we did have to change plugs for one larea of the house. We use only water from the tap (which is quite hard in terms of ph) but have noth any issue with this. We use it on engineered wood as well as tile flooring. We do recommend that you do a very good sweep or vacuum, or both. We wear socks while cleaning the floor to avoid footprints while the floor is damp and drying. I absolutely love this floor steamer mop. I live in a townhouse apartment. The main floor is a laminate wood floor and 2nd floor is carpet. My daughter and I are shoes off at the front door kind of people. Unfortunately, the color of the laminate shows absolutely everything. I have tried different mops and different cleaning solutions to avoid streaks. I was at a total loss. Nothing was working to the level I wanted. This product showed up on a Walmart ad pop-up. I live in a townhouse apartment. The main floor is a laminate wood floor and 2nd floor is carpet. My daughter and I are shoes off at the front door kind of people. Unfortunately, the color of the laminate shows absolutely everything. I have tried different mops and different cleaning solutions to avoid streaks. I was at a total loss. Nothing was working to the level I wanted. This product showed up on a Walmart ad pop-up. I read through the reviews and quickly decided, why not and what could it hurt. Needless to say I ordered it and when it arrived I tried it out. I love this floor steamer mop! Finally no steaks and no little puddles of water left behind. I add a little lavender essential oil to the mop pad and voila. The floor dries very quickly and an extra bonus, the floor is sanitized. I use the spray nozzle on my kitchen faucet to clean the mop pad when I'm finished mopping to remove any excess dirt left behind on the pad after rinsing it. I highly recommend this floor steamer mop.
