Amazing quality. Easy to use and quiet! I live in an apartment so i'm glad it's not super loud. I have been using it everyday (i hate cooking so it gets heavy usage) and I'm surprised at how powerful it is, heats up food evenly. I had been looking at 1000w plus Microwaves but they weren't in my price range so I'm glad I found this one! Very happy with my purchase.

I needed to replace my previous microwave and chose this Sharp one. Despite reading the reviews before buying, I am very disappointed with my choice. The panel has a dark. background and it is very hard to see. The buttons often have to pressed several times before they respond. I usually use my microwave several times a day, but for the first time ever I had to read the instruction manual to work out how to program it to cook something for a specific time at full power.It is unnecessarily complicated.

Our last microwave finally gave up the ghost about a month ago and we need to replace it with another for under $200 but with enough oomph to get the job done. This is a great unit. I have my own adjusted time for cooking rice etc so I have never used these preset functions on any microwave I have owned so I ignore any negative online reviews in regards to these.I highly recommend both the unit & AO who delivered the next day AND removed the old unit and all the packaging free of charge. That's what I call service!
This microwave is great value for money and very simple to use. We don’t need a microwave that takes forever to work out how to drive it so this one hits the spot. Plenty of capabilities and you can manually change the power level and the timing easily.It’s also not one of those microwaves that beeps reminders every minute once it’s finished. Demanding appliances are the pits.It feel a bit flimsy but is easy to clean and is coping with our rough household
The Oven per se, is acceptable, however,what is necessary, is illumination of the control panel controls.As is now, it is very- difficult to read the options and choices.I do not see anything in the User Manual, which touches on 'illumination'?* I would like technical response on that please.
I didn't want anything fancy - something that can just heat up and defrost. Didn't need it to look like it could fly a plane, or look extra slick (I don't understand why any white good needs to or even can look slick). i haven't had long, but seems to be doing the trick - quite powerful, solid and easy to use. From other reviews, think will stand the test of time. Buyers should pay attention to weight and dimensions. I did not, and it was quite a bit heavier and larger than expected. I think i thought that because of the price, it would be small and lightweight! the weight makes it seem like it is a sturdy machine.
Easy to use, clean lines. Only issue is that it takes 5 button presses to get a 30 secs cook. Would prefer one step ie 'Instant cook' to be 30 secs.
I do like my Sharp Microwave however the control panel is dark and hard to see at night. I would also have preferred a clock that is not a 24 hour. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase.
Brought this micro recently and it has met all expectations. Looks good and functions well. Operating panel is straightforward.Only suggestion would be more contrast on the control panel to make reading print easier.
