Cool but not too light, you still feel the weight of the quilt which I like. Washes well in the machine, not too bulky or heavy once wet. Unlike my washable wool underlay that feels like I’m wrangling a dead bear onto the clothes line (not fun). It softens after a few washes and keeps its shape. Cotton filling stays put in their little squares. Unlike another brand I bought that after one wash the filling clumped together and it feels like you’re sleeping under bags of marbles (not ideal). Love this quilt!

Great quality quilt. However it is still quite heavy, and for us too warm for Summer. We also have a lightweight Mini Jumbuk Ultralight and this quilt isn’t really much cooler. Great for someone allergic to wool or feathers.

I've had this quilt for a couple of years and really enjoy sleeping under it. However upon washing (gentle machine as directed) the filling balled up so each quilted square now has a few lumps of fibre in it rather than being a fluffy and evenly distributed. So I would recommend this quilt but I would either maybe hand wash in the bath or send it for specialty cleaning.

I read all the positive reviews and thought I’d invest in one of these myself! I love it and the quilt fills out my king cover nicely. Sits flat on the bed too, no bunching. As much as it says ultracool, I’d agree with some reviews saying this one runs on the warmer and heavier side for a summer/light style. I’m sure I could use it 9 months of the year in Sydney and add or subtract an extra blanket as required. Thanks for your constant great online deals Myer. I’ll likely purchase another of these for the other bedroom in my house.
If you live in QLD, this doona is a must-have. Brisbane rarely gets cold enough to need anything heavier than this. I now have two of these; one for our bed, and one for the guest bed.
I love this light weight cotton quilt. It is perfect for spring, summer and autumn in Perth WA.
This quilt was given to me by my old best friend from high schools mum, he didn't need it anymore so I was lucky enough for it to be passed onto me. I have long limbs and this quilt covers them adequately. I also suffer from chillblains in my extremeties so I'm not sure what I'm doing with an ultracool quilt but I guess it does the job. Sometimes I lay in bed with my quilt and I'm overcome with sadness and depression but at least I have a quilt over me.
It's fabulous! After 10 years with a down and feather quilt and finding sleeping difficult this quilt has completely changed my life. Now I experience decent sleep and therefore I am fully rested and alert in the morning - instead of being constantly tired.
The quilt was a Father's Day gift. My father loved it.It is 100% cotton so light and cool. Perfect for summer. Machine washable. Criss-cross stitching so the cotton filling doesn't move around. Also, it was on special so lots of money saved. A really great buy!
Sorry, but I wished that I had gone into the store to investigate the "weight". We wanted an ultra cool and lightweight duvet. It's the heaviest duvet we have ever encountered. Then you have to add a cover, of course, and it's a stonking weighty duvet. Very uncomfortable. Looks beautiful though. Kind regards, P & K Aspinall.
