Absolutely incredible rod feels mor like a 2-4 than a 3-6 but has the backbone to pull fish out of structure good cast accacy nice l stiff fast action for soft plastic or hard bodies feels good in the hand great all rounder

Great rod, light enough for whiting and squid, strong enough for snapper and gummies. Ideal piece of kit.

The feel is premium and quick, catching fish feels so satisfying and rewarding. Well worth the price in my opinion for a great rod, make yourself a clubby for the extra savings.One thing that doesn't cut the full 5 stars is due to the length of the rod, it's great none the less but I would personally extend this rod up to at least a 7". This is because you have more sensitivity and longer casting range, especially with a great rod like this it makes it all the worth while.Overall very happy with the quality of this build and I can't wait to see what more shimano have coming soon.Much appreciated guys,- Archer.
Good rod but will never deal with Anaconda again ever adter bring ripped off $40 postage for 2 light qeighr rods from the same shop that came in the 1 package. Rung the thieves and was told nothi g they could do. Rung consumer affairs there looking into it as they said its wrong to charge 2 x postages for 2 400 gm rods postwd together.. just out right thieves buy elsewhere not from these thieves
Delivered additional items that were not ordered with my item. Those items were broken as well. Given this is a graphite rod I returned to a physical store.The rod itself is an extra fast taper, it's extremely stiff compared to other 2-5 kg rods. There is no protective finish over the graphite and gives the I.pression it will scratch and nic easily, which you know, with graphite blanks is kind of important.Runners are Fuji but the y seem like a backwards step for a rod that is meant to retail in the same bracket as daiwa td blacks, which I would reccomend over these particular range of shimanos. Cheaper alternatives would do you better such as the raider or jewl. Even daiwa hypers and tierra rods have a better feel.

Nice little flathead, bream rod. Would have liked slightly larger line guides, just my preference.
Well made and balanced rod, slightly softer feel, good for larger plastics 1/8 oz and larger,it will throw smaller but I have a lighter rod for lighter plastics, good for regular lures and could even be nice with squid. Good purchase
