The Shimano Ocea Jigger F Custom represents the particular model of the Ocea Jigger family equipped with a "descent lever". The innovative shape of this lever allows for comfortable and instant use, to be used with just one thumb. Not only the falling speed of the jig, but also the posture of the jig in the water can be freely controlled. Furthermore, the shape of the knob, easy to grip and put in force, easily supports high loads such as deep fishing, reducing the angler's fatigue. Of course, this model also takes advantage of the technology that the Ocea Jigger series is proud of, such as the smooth and powerful winding of the Infinity Drive and Micro Module gears, ensuring high rigidity, durability and extremely smooth dragging performance. The body in Hagane is like a cold forged "metal armor". High rigidity protects the reel's internal structure and minimizes deflection to improve gear accuracy. The Shimano Ocea Jigger F Custom converts the angler's power into lifting power. All combined with the X Protect protection system, which combines a waterproof wall and a special water-repellent grease, preventing the intrusion of water into the side bearing of the gear shaft spool, which is extremely protected. A waterproof wall is also provided inside the spool to reduce the entry of sea water onto the spool shaft bearing and improve the corrosion resistance of the bearing. An exceptional reel that is part of the Shimano offer intended for saltwater.
