The first set that I bought arrived with a leaking piston seal and was clearly a manufacturing issue. Tredz replaced it free of charge, but I was left without the bike to ride for a few days as they wouldn't dispatch anything until they had recieved and assessed the old one. For anyone interested these are in fact mt501/mt520 4 piston brake set. They come bled but are not attached to the lever yet so they can be shortened to your desired length. Extra olive, Barb, bleed block, pad spacer and bolts are all included. Very pleased with this purchase.

My brake lever was leaking and couldn't be repaired. I looked for a MT-500 but apparently they are being replaced by MT-501. I searched and found the rear brake kit which was exactly what I needed. I received the order in 3 days, was expecting 6-8 days according to info at sale. Needless to say, very happy with the part and extremely happy with the expedited service. Now I''m back on the trail, thanks much!

Bought the brakes about 4 months ago nand they have currently seen light useage. They give great stopping power and have a decent feel to them; however, 2 of the pistons in my front brake have seized up (this seems to be a common fault after aksing in groups on facebook, down to build quality) Therefore, I'd have to say get some Sram Guide RE/RS brakes or Magura Mt5s for teh similar price
So very happy that Cambia had this combo set for a REAR brake in stock. I feel like I found the last one in the country. The on-line process was smooth. Order confirmation and shipment was expeditious and parts arrived quickly and as advertised. No surprises no problems!
The shipment arrived from MRW in two days and the assembly was simple, I recommend buying Massi "mineral" brake fluid in this same store. Good sensations since the braking is progressive and hard if you want to nail the brake. I still have to test its operation in the mountains. A basic manual would be fine for people who have not installed a brake kit.
It is a true brake wonder. At first it braked almost when you touched the handlebar, but adjusting the screw on the lever brakes from the beginning. The touch is progressive but very powerful and nails the disc. Long 26 "cord. I had to cut it. Perfect match with a Shimano XT 180 disc. Perfect shipping.
Don't have much experience with these brakes yet but they seem to be really good. 4 piston brakes at this price? amazing. Even shimano's lower tier gear is awesome quality and these are no exception, looks like the caliper even has ceramic pistons as well.
Once I got them installed and adjusted brake works fantastic. Had to reset the pistons about 4 times, as disk continued to rub against break pads and there was no clearance between the disk and the break pads.
