The Shimano Deore XT RD-M8120 XT 12-speed rear derailleur features a super low profile design and optimized slant angle for super light shifting action. Shadow plus uses a chain stabilising switch that reduces chain bounce in rough terrain, maintaining a more stable drive and shifting. A single tension spring prevents contact with the chainstay, resulting in a silent ride. The derailleur also features a rubber bumper on the pulley cage for added quiet operation. It has 13T pulleys and decreased derailleur tension to prevent high chain tension in low gears. Direct cable routing prevents snagging from trail side hazards. The outer pulley cage is made of carbon fibre to save weight, while the inner cage is made of alloy for increased rigidity. The derailleur is specifically designed to work with XTR M9100 12-speed double drivetrains and features durable sealed 13T bearing pulleys for low friction.
