Shimano Dura Ace Cassette 10-Speed CS-7900 11-28
The lions share of attention has gone to Shimano's awesome 7900 (standard) and 7950 (compact) cranksets, and the 7900 shifters. There's not a lot of glamour in the cassette category this year. Is this a bad thing? Absolutely not. It simply means that Shimano's engineers only needed to apply a few tweaks to match the awesome new technology seen on other 7900 Dura Ace components. It's almost like you've been riding 2009 technology for a year already.Make no mistake, there are changes that have been made, like stacking four titanium cogs on all sizes of cassettes this year. Just like the chainrings, the teeth of the cassette have been re- profiled to mesh perfectly with the new 7900 chain for smooth, quiet, seamless shifting unlike any you've experienced before. A new carrier also adds stiffness and reduces weight.Don't run the 11-27 or 11-28 versions with anything but a 7900 rear derailleur. All other 7900 cassettes will work with your 7800 rear derailleur, but you should probably just go ahead and upgrade that too.

Jenson USA beat every other merchant on price and offered free shipping. Shimano Dura Ace quality is reliable light weight precision 10 speed. What more could anyone ask for. I always check Jenson USA for availability when ordering replacement parts.

I bike about 100 miles a week, sometimes up to 200, I had issues with shifting, rear cassette slipping, so I changed out to dura ace 7900 cassette and chain, and I'm totally in love with how smooth my rides are! Easy to install and lighter too. great choice. Even better, Jensen has great selection, easy access to knowledgable staff for questions. Prompt shipping too.PROS: Easy To Install, Precise Shifting, Durable, Lightweight, Enhances Pedaling Efficiency

Very light and works smoothly with a 10 speed KMC chain. Good gear changing. The power goes to the back wheel. I'm no Tony Martin but I was goin a bit faster using this cassette as compared to an Ultegra one. The dura ace 7900 chainset on my bike probably helps too.

Brilliant, exactly what you would expect from Shimano's Dura Ace Series. Perfect machining and expertly engineered. Only weighs 185 grams which is very light for an 11/28 cassette. The perfect blend of lightweight and durability, no worries with this light weight cassette.
Okay, so I will admit that I didn't really need a Dura Ace cassette. I was using an Ultegra one which worked fine. However, I noticed that these were on sale so picked it up to try it out. I did immediately notice improved shifting performance. I have a Dura Ace rear derailleur so now the cassette matches it better I suppose. anyway, it shaves a few grams off my rig and works very well with my drive train. I don't have any complaints.PROS: Smooth, LightCONS: Price
My bike is a 2010 Scout Addict R1. I am very happy with my purchase of this new 10 spd cassette. I switched from a 11-23t to this 12-25t. My shifts seem to be smoother with less double shifting. Also happy with the slightly taller gears.
Very nice condition. Looks like it has very low miles. Can't wait to get this built up so I can ride.
This is the correct high quality cassette for my road bike and there was no issue installing it at my local bike shop. Dura Ace is the top line product of Shimano. I reviewed the initial top line equipment listed in my Scott bike specs and this is what was needed.
Shimano DuraAce 10 speed cassette....I bought it as a backup. My 10 speed drive train works beautifully and this was less expensive than an upgrade that wouldnt make me any faster. When my current cassette wears out, Ill be ready. Install this cassette and a new chain and "Voila", good to go for another 5 years.
Having recently fitted a compact 50/34 chainset to my bike from a 53/39 I found the 11-25 cassette I had a little too low, so wanted to drop the gearing down but keep the same ratio as 39/25. So went for the 12-23 rather than 11-21. Seems to work well, but still unsure about the compact ratio of 34 teeth. Why not 36?As with all Dura ace stuff its top notch, smooth shifting and very light. After “learning the hard way”, To avoid wear on the sprockets (and this range do wear quicker), I clean and change the chain regularly and I am getting a lot more miles out of a cassette than I used to. Obscenely expensive though, so price match which to Evans credit they always will.
