Can’t praise this shimano line enough. Soft, supple and not brittle to the touch like other lines such as platypus pretest. Cinches knots just beautifully and highly abrasion resistant. Palomar and snells are a dream.

Everything you expect from a high quality mono. Very easy to work with and all the strength needed for landing fun fish and squid.
I use 15lb Shimano Exage mono line for spinning for tailor off the beach with metal slugs. It is very thin for breaking strain and has no twist when I use a snap swivel. I’m very impressed with this product. I think it is quite cheap for a line of such good quality
I brought this to spool a few kids reels with. For the breaking strain it was the thinnest line available in store. It isn't an IGFA rated line like platypus pre test and breaks at or slightly above it's rated strength. The line is smooth and supple with minimal memory and a small degree of stretch. It represents good value in the 300m spool and the packaging allows it to be spooled to a reel directly with no line twist.I will buy again.
I bought this line due to the other line i usually bought was sold out and this mono line is good. Knots are strong, no need for hot water to stop line flying off reel, and thin for casting,only concern is after a few sessions, any weakness on the line like tiny frays and scratches will instantly snap the line and will not hold the capacity it holds
I've tried a lot of lines over my 40years plus of fishing and this line rates up there with the best. Excellent casting distance. Great knot strength and reasonably priced too. If your look for a mono line that lives up to what they say it does then give this one a go I think you'll be impressed.
This line appears to be as good of quality compared to any other brand. I use this on my eggbeater reel and no complaints. Still catching fish so must be ok.
I have used braid for probably the last 10yrs and i have had nothing but dramas with different types, so I went back to mono. I bought 300m expecting to have some left over after spooling both my shimano overheads but no, its nice and thin and I haven't had break offs and I am getting a lot less abrasion so if it continues I will be staying with this mono, an yes I rinse after every trip out an store out of sunlight.
