The Shimano GE9 (GE900) Gravel Shoes are flagship downhill/enduro SPD shoes designed for next-level grip and bike control. They feature an enduro-optimized Shimano ULTREAD GE rubber compound and tread pattern for reliable pedaling and hiking traction. The TORBAL 2.0 torsional midsole improves outer edge flexibility for excellent control on aggressive descents and corners. The BOA Fit System with a shielded L6 dial prevents accidental release when colliding with rocks and other trail hazards. A stiff, carbon-reinforced midsole supports efficient pedaling on liaison and climbing stages. The updated Pedal Channel has an expanded toe-to-heel design for next-level SPD stability when unclipped. The shoes also feature spongy, layered EVA foam that absorbs impacts and works with TORBAL 2.0 to enhance bike control. The midfoot SPD placement improves stability and bike control. A stretchy neoprene ankle collar offers additional protection from dirt and debris, while a reinforced toe cap provides additional toe protection. The shoes weigh 430g (size 42) and have a stiffness rating of 7. They are suitable for unisex riders and come in a black color.
