Fusing our most advanced manufacturing capabilities with the needs of anglers; the Ocea Jigger is a flagship level star drag jigging reel. Ocea Jigger offers paramount cranking power due to Infinity Drive. Reduced friction between the pinion gear and spool shaft greatly improves rotational torque. Combined with MicroModule gear, this leads to an unmatched gear feeling, never seen before. The X-Protect feature enhances durability and water resistance by utilizing a labrynth construction, combined with water repellent spray to funnel water away from key wear out parts.

An old favorite of mine, and the new one is a step-up, so smooth and the slightly longer handle is very welcome.

Amazing. First time out caught a 100cm kingfish and this reel handled it perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone wanting the best slow jig reel out there.

Have not used the reel yet. Excellent service from Fishing Tackle Shop. Please keep up the good work.
Easy to control, gives me better grip handle and provides smooth and easy cranking motion. What else can you ask for?
Very smooth. Handle very well.
By far one of the nicest reels I own.
I was happy when Shimano released this reel here in the States. I have to say, I was looking at purchasing a JDM version prior to it's release, but as most know, Shimano and other U.S. based brands won't touch their companies JDM products. It is extremely smooth, and reeling up from depth with a 400 or 500g jig and a fish, is not a problem. I'm waiting to see how well it works on large fish.
Difficult to say which one is better... Ocea Jigger 1500HG has automatic clutch return and drag sound. Those 2 are better than Saltiga 15H. But, Saltiga was released in 2015...
Super smooth and powerful
