I have found this shoe to be both comfortable and stylish. These were my first pair of cleats I have ever purchased so I was not sure what to expect but they have been great. I was primarily after a shoe that would be comfortable but stylish too and this certainly fits the bill. The only reason I have not gone for 5 stars is when you are putting your foot into the shoe it can be ever so slightly awkward as you have to ensure you are holding the tongue of the shoe as it slips away , but this is really not a huge deal at all. I love the boa as I can adjust the tightness of the shoe so easily.Overall a great shoe for comfort and style :)

These shoes are super comfortable. They also look very sleek. They have nice aeration, which I'm sure I'll appreciate in the summer, but they are starting to feel a bit breezy on autumn rides.They run a bit small. I'm usually a 9 and had to get the 9.5.

Having purchased some other shoes that didn't fit properly, I was pleased to find sigma sports, who not only did free returns, also surprised me with some sweets with my purchase!! Their website gives you good guidance on measuring for the right shoes size, as I find they are all so different! Delivery was quick and easy. Shoes are really comfy and all I need to do now is mastering clipping in and out properly.Will use Sigma again!

I tried a number of pairs of cycling shoes to replace my old R132s and nothing fit me. In the end I sent Shimano a message via Facebook and asked what shoe replaced the older model. The response was the RC5W. I did go up a size though, 39 instead of my perfect fitting 38s, so the shoe does seem a bit smaller overall. I have very shallow, but wide (not that wide, just not Sidi narrow) feet with a high instep. These shoes are comfortable for the longest rides. I would personally recommend. Great all round fit, a bit stiff on the ankle initially, but does soften. Only other observation is, can shoe manufacturers only work in single colours. My previous shoe was white, silver and black. These are all white and look, in all honesty, pretty dull! :)
Shimano’s quality is always top notch. The shoes feel like gloves; they are snug but not tight and the power transfer is excellent,
Bought online in sale. They were far too small but spoke to online sales who were so helpful and sent out new larger size pair. Returns was really easy and quickly refunded. New pair are perfect.
The wrap-around design of this shoe fits particularly well. No issues with tongue gusset not staying in place. Boa makes for a snug and secure fit.
Excellent Shimano quality, stiff carbon composite sole, but best suited for narrow feet. By comparison, wider than same size Giro shoe, but narrower than same size Specialized shoe.
These are my first road shoes and I'm very pleased with them so far. They are a great fit. I did need a size bigger than expected so I would recommend sizing up but Biketart happily exchanged them for the correct size for me without any problems. They also seem well made and look great too!
Bought these as a first pair of proper shoes for my daughter and they are excellent. Light weight, easy to put on and importantly for her look really good. Haven't bought Shimano shoes for a long time but will consider next time I need new ones.
