This reel costs over $1300 Canadian if you can find it in stockI paid $775 Canadian. The Stella reel is my new favorite spinning reel, so smooth and tough. Lightweight and effortless cranking. Sealed everywhere to keep everything smooth. Shiny space-age finish. At that price, I would expect the bar to be set very high, and this stella is definitely a next-level reel.
The Stella 2500 size is just as small if not smaller than my 6-year-old ultralight Shimano Stradic, and way smaller and lighter than my 2500 Penn Spin fisher.
This reel is 100% worth the hype! I can confidently say I have never encountered such a fine tuned machine. The quality is apparent with every turn of the handle, it leaves no doubt!! Discount Tackle had it at my doorstep in less than 24 hours!!!
