I bought a Shimano Stella 6000 and asked if I could change it for an 18000. they said no problem, so I did. the people were very obliging and helpful, the reel is absolutely brilliant and I would recommend both the reel and Marine Deals to anyone. Extremely Happy

Looks great, smooth and plenty of power to pull in those big fish! It does cost more than your average reel, but this is Shimano’s top reel, it will not disappoint or let you down when fighting those big fish.Highly recommend if you are looking for a high end reel.

The Stella is worth every penny! Using mine for surfcasting on 11 foot ODM rod. Long casts & super smooth retrieve. Because retrieve is so smooth I can control my lures better.

My grandad brought it and he had a 10cm snapper on it and and the reel snapped off. And he doesn’t usually dosen’t swear but he cursed for a year
Purchased the new Stella in the 6K size, liking it much better than my larger 10K so far. It fits most 7-9ft rods nicely, is light weight, great drag, and IPX8 rated. Shimanos platinum service is a big plus as well.
Excuse me, who has 1000 dollars laying around (I Do), might as well buy a yacht to go along with this thing, not to mention you probably are gonna run out of money for the rod, so I recommend taking the rod off of a kid caster, great for tuna and grouper and is a fun fight for how light the rod is. Overall great rod and exceptional price.
I have not had a chance to try this reel, to see it in person and feel thequality I am sure it will fulfill my expectations. It was the first time shoppingwith Fishing Tackle Shop and would like to say any questions I had concerningthe Stella reel were immediately responded to. I would highly recommend this company.addressed and
Bought this to pair up with a grappler 7’10†med/lite. This combo is the perfect balance. Reeling in plugs from 1oz to 3oz you feel no difference. Smooth cranking and drag. What else is there to say. It’s a Stella
Received items in good condition on 24 Oct'17. Label printed on spool as SW14000. Printed on the bottom handle as SW14000XG-B. Ordered Stella 14000 SWB XG. Just concern why the inconsistency in the product ID. Are they the same? I hope the product is as per advertised. Could FTS clarify on this. Haven't tested yet. Thanks
Smooth as butter. Worth every penny. I bought this reel with the intent of top water jigging, bottom jigging and for any type of offshore fishing. You will not be disappointed.
