I recently replaced my worn out 10 speed Ultegra 6700 shifters with Tiagra 4700 shifters. This also required replacing both derailleurs as the pull activation ratio differed between the two product lines. The Tiagra groupset shifts sweetly as. No issues with the existing 52/39 crankset. Worth noting that I also ordered the separate bolt-on clamp to attach the brazed-on derailleur too. This was safer than drilling into my carbon frame.
