Really great shifters, not too much that can be said about the XT 12 speed shifters. They do their job really well, feel solidly built, offer excellent value, have features of XTR at a lower price point.They do feel nicer than SLX

Excellent shifter. I purchased this along with a matching XT derailleur to replace my Sram GX setup where the clutch failed after 3.5yrs….not bad. My decision to purchase the XT setup was based on the ability to adjust/repair clutch if need be. I really like that with the Shimano shifter you have the ability to make multiple downshifts into higher gears with one long single press of the paddle where with Sram each gear requires one press of paddle.

Nice solid shifts, bang change up bang change down, no lag or hesitancy allowing you to concentrate on your lines. Lovely tactile feel , well worth the price , a great upgrade even without changing anything else shifts are crisper.
Great quality shifter. Smooth lever feel. The double upshift feature is nice but not necessary. You would still be able to upshift quickly with a shifter that doesn’t have this feature.

I bought this to go on a frame I’ve been building up. Mostly speced Slx parts but I thought I’d go for the Xt shifter.Very pleased with it, the feel/action of the levers is great and I must say I’m a big fan of the multi-shift feature. The I-spec ev mount is great, much neater than the bar mounts, and it means the cockpit’s nice and neat.Service form sigma was grand, no issues and the shipping was pretty speedy too.
Positive multi-gear changing making it a delight to use. Expect long and faithful service from this item of kit.Clean shifting up and down - great!
Paired with the corresponding XT mech and cassette these work perfectly. The action is a little heavier than SRAM shifters but the shifting is noticeably better by comparison.
Usual Shimano quality, easy to set up and smooth in use worth the money over SLXNB. This EV shifter will fit older Spec ii brake levers, just change the brakes integration nut for the longer EV one(or use old nut but replace bolt with constant thread)
