This is one of the many mouthguards I bought for my 4 kids. I buy my kids a new one every year because they grow. They use the mouthguards for jiu-jitsu, football, wrestling, and lacrosse. These Gel Max Mouthguards are awesome, easy to mold, and do a great job protecting my kids' teeth. They look and seem small initially, but once they're boiled and formed, they'll fit with no problem (adults or kids sizes). My recommendation is to follow the size chart.

I was very wrong and ended up wasting my money because obviously these can't be returned or exchanged. After following the instructions I put them In my mouth, I noticed immediately that they were too small and just wouldn't yield even for an adult version. They were then obviously stuck in that position because the teeth mold would be unlikely to move again in a well enough manner so I up them straight into the bin. My teenage son used this mouthguard for sports and it works great. The instructions are easy and the guard itself is easy to out in and easy to breathe with it as well. It definitely does the job! My son said it felt very comfortable!

My kid wanted a flavored mouthguard so I got him this one. After one week, the flavor gel is destroyed, there’s barely any protection for his teeth. I had to throw it away and go buy him a better one. I don’t like the lack of protection and seeing how easily this mouth guard could be destroyed.

I am an adult male and the package said it was for an adult so I bought it. When I got it home I took it out of the package and before putting it in the hot water I decided to see what kind of feel it had. It was very small. I thought maybe after heating it up to the recommended temperature and do a teeth press with it hoping it would expand and conform to my mouth but that didn't happen. It was still too small and I threw it away.
I bought this mouthguard as I participate in a high contact sport and it looked like a more advanced version of what I already had, it was also more expensive so I again assumed it would be a better product but I quickly learnt that wasn't the case when I attempted the fitting procedure.I am a 20 year old male so I purchased the "adult" size. I attempted three times to fit the mouth guard following the exact prosedure of the guide provided with the product and it didn't even get close to moulding to my teeth properly. The material was to firm so I again attempted for a fourth time leaving it in the boiling water for a lot longer then shown in the guide. I was still faced with the same issue the material wast soft enough and would not let me sink my teeth in far ... These were a bit pricey but we thought they’d be better quality. We bought 3 and carefully followed the instructions. Only 1 turned out right. 2 were completely botched. We had to throw them away. We later purchased a much cheaper brand and it worked so much better. Wishing we’d just started with the cheaper ones in the first place.
