A seriously great bit of kit. Top notch quality, fits like a dream.......sooooooo comfortable. The visor system is both elegant and functional. I chose white because it will be used exclusively in the sun of Thailand with my trike. I am one extremely happy customer. Oh......and it’s a Shoei. Need I say more?

All I expected and more… I was looking for a classic/retro style helmet for a while, but in the end always postponed the purchase - sometimes they were too big, sometimes not comfortable, sometimes lacked in protection and even though I was looking for the classic style overtime I thought there would be no other option rather than goggles or the ugly fixed bubble I ended up not buying. Enter the Shoei JO, and suddenly I got the style, with the protection, with the comfort, the lightness, and, coup de grace, the internal visor. Using it since last week and extremely pleased with it. The fit is true to the Shoei style, only if slightly more comfortable than usual in the cheeks. It feels extremely light on the head, and the visor works great. I purchased the helmet (Unseen or tested for fitment in real life) after seeing one in a video. It’s possibly the most comfortable, best fitting open face helmet I’ve ever owned. I don’t normally use drop down visors as they rarely fit properly and air leaking through makes my eyes water. The profile on the bottom of the visor and the 3 stops of adjustability mean I can get the visor close to my nose totally alleviating the problem (also the way it’s been made there is zero distortion towards the edges). The helmet is light, the padding is excellent and noise is minimal given it’s an open face design. Photographs don’t do the colour any justice either. Highly recommended

I have a big head so usually XL in Shoei and on Full Face have to reduce the size of the inserts. This to avoid going to XXL and black or white as a choice (come on Helmet manufacturers - we dont all have small heads) ! This one fitted perfectly after using measurement advice on website. Great company so far (Urban and Shoei)!
I've had a chance to wear this helmet on a number occasions. It is very comfortable and the clear internal visor is a very nice feature to have on an open face helmet. The helmet accommodates sunglasses with the internal visor in the up or down position. Shoei quality is evident even on this lower priced model.
The fit is great, comfortable but tight, which makes it feel very secure. The goggle attachment is very good at the rear and goggles really set off the helmet. Of course the Shoei brand means I can trust the safety.
I bought several of 3/4 helmets to try. Bell Riot, LS Bobber and the Shoei J O helmets. The Bell hada hard interior at the forehead. the LS was very comfortable but the Shoei was by far the most comfortable helmet I tried. Fits perfectly on my long oval head. I love the internal visor and its a Shoei, one of the most reliable helmets you can buy. I am very pleased. \nAlso, the service from Urban Rider was unbelieveable. I was skeptical to order from London since I live in Hawaii USA but their service was better than any other mainland company I have ordered from. Great job guys.
I like the helmet more than I expected. In the past I used a Davida Speedster which is a quality product but did not fit properly. The Shoei JO on the other hand fits snug but without pressure points. The lining uses modern materials which are comfortable. I like the design of the shell and the quality feel of the materials. The dropdown shield is very effective in keeping the wind off my eyes even at 60-70 mph. At 60 mph I felt a little helmet lift but I had goggles on the front of the helmet. There is no whistling even at high speeds even when turning the head for lane changes. Overall a quality helmet with a retro jet style with modern tech and materials. Highly recommend if you are looking for a 3/4 helmet
Typically the best fit for me was the most £. Tried various lids in local shops ££to £££ Had tried the Bell custom in large but way too tight.In x large way too big. This Shoei j lo was by far the most comfortable fit by far for me in large. Head size 605mm.Great looking colour fit and feel. Thumbs up on service and communication.
Excellent and well made Helmet, beautiful colour and what you'd expect from a Shoei... Great Value and service from Urban Rider. Had to return it and exchange as it was the wrong colour blue compared to my bike so got a silver one instead very happy!!
