I've been wanting this for 15 years! Great for podcasts, voice, or pop/indie music with midrange/trebel focus.I'm giving this 5 stars, because it is even better than what I imagined and the bone conduction with open ear listening is super important to me. I don't like being unable to hear what's going on around me. Plus my ears don't get hot like they do from over ear headphones.NOTE Things with lots of bass don't reproduce well. For most things I listen to, the sound is great! For some music with more bass, it will be missing, but I don't care as much.FITS OVER GLASSES PERFECTLY - I looked it up to make sure, but when I put them on, they felt so natural and I didn't have to fiddle with them unlike the powerbeats3 headphones I had previously.Super easy to put ... MoreI've been wanting this for 15 years! Maybe I should have gotten the mini version? If I prop my head right, I can lay back.

I bought these headphones because I like to hear my surroundings while listening to audios and doing everyday tasks. I have had them for almost 6 months now. If my surroundings are too loud I cannot hear the headphones unless I put in ear plugs or wear ear muffs which increases the clarity overall. Most of the time my surroundings are not that loud and I can hear the headphones just fine. The volume will not go loud enough to make you deaf tho I have found they are much louder when wearing ear muffs/plugs in combination with the earphones. Overall these bone conductive headphones have been really nice untill recently. I sweat more than anyone I know and these phones usually play unhindered unless water gets trapped on the speaker then it sounds like a blown out speaker which fixes after it dries. I recommend these headphones over all the others I have tried because I never miss a call, can hear my surroundings, they will not fall off, and are very comfortable. Out of all the pros and cons my biggest issue is the price which hopefully enough people will start buying these and they will go down in price and made to last for several days on one charge.

I use these for work in an office, and I have to say, I'm truly impressed by how comfortable they are for long periods of time.So there is sound bleed, if someone is close enough. Generally a third party cant make out all the words from the person on the other end, but they can tell there is sound, if there's no other background noises. So thats something to keep in mind.Taking calls and sound quality of voices is pretty excellent, and I have been told theres no trouble hearing me talk, so the mic must be pretty good as well.Listening to music, its not bad, I know it could be better, simply because I have other headphones to compare it to, but the ease of use is why you buy these, not the sound quality. After about 5 hours, I have to take them off to give my ... MoreI use these for work in an office, and I have to say, I'm truly impressed by how comfortable they are for long periods of time.So there is sound bleed, if someone is close enough. I think the best use case is for office settings where you have to take alot of calls for a long period of time and you need maximum comfort to do so.Exercising with this, they dont move around, which was surprising, so its possible to use them for that. Personally I dont, but I did give that a test run, and they stayed right in the correct position the whole timeAll in all, I would recommend this to anyone1. That requires comfort over long periods2. Doesnt care about sound quality being the #1 thing3. Works in an office with minimal background noise.
I’ve been curious about these for a long time but i was nervous spending so much on an unfamiliar technology. They were deeply discounted recently and I got them. Im glad i did. Im glad I got a good price, but i think they’re worth more than I paid. They sound great, but most importnatly to me, they fit great. I wear them when I take my dog for walks, grocery shopping and when I ride my bike. They’re so comfortable, I often forget I have them on after a walk and only remember when i go to adjust my hair and feel them. Calls sound great, BT connection is solid, battery life is great. The controls are simple and easy to find and operate while wearing. I have just a couple things i wish were better, but these are very minor issues. I wish they turned off automatically after being idle for a long time, they could be a smidge louder, and I’d like a less bulky case with a built in charger. Although, the battery lasts so long that i havent needed to charge them often and having the charger separate allows for using a different case. They do have a new version that are two separate pieces more like traditional earbuds, but I actually like that these are connected becasue it makes them super securely attached to my head. Speaking of my head, its a big one and these fit no problem. I love these and they’ve quickly become my main set of headphones.
Works well. The default setting for music does not work as well with podcasts, my primary use. I was able to change the setting by setting up an account and logging in to the Shokz app. Some podcasts are apparently recorded differently than others and the sound works better. Of course, you can't have sound isolation, but that is safer for driving. I like that I can be hiking on the trail and exchange greetings without needing to stop my podcast, but I can stop it and have a conversation if I want, without removing my earphones. I have not tested the claims of how long the charge will last. I found that if it is safe to do so, and what you are listening to has the right sound dynamics, you can put earplugs in and the sound is even louder. The instructions say that ... MoreWorks well. The instructions say that the spoken word mode focuses more of the mid-range. It is true that listening to the spoken word in the default (music) mode seems to result in the bass overpowering other ranges and making it difficult to hear male voices clearly. I would order these again.
I suffer from severe ringing in the ears (Tinnitus), and have tried several other headphone designs to try to give my brain something else to focus on, but everything was just too occlusive. I drive a paratransit bus for a living, and must be able to communicate with my riders as well as hear what is going on around the vehicle. Apple AirPods Pro 2 was the closest that I got, but even though they have the transparency mode, it is still very electronic sounding, and frankly, its too distracting when you driving and they keep falling out. I tried a cheap pair of Bone Conduction headphones and was impressed by how well I could hear, and still hear my music. However, this pair (ONN Brand) had dismal battery life, and NO bass at all. I tried a cheap pair of Bone Conduction headphones and was impressed by how well I could hear, and still hear my music. However, this pair (ONN Brand) had dismal battery life, and NO bass at all. I did research to find the best out there and settled on the Shook OpenRun Pro. I am very impressed with them! Although the bass is not 'thumping', you can clearly hear the bass of a song, and it mixes very well with mids and treble to give a well rounded sound. The battery life has been amazing! The description says battery life of up to 10 hours, and I figured that was probably at the lowest setting, but I was wrong. My shifts are 10 hours long, and I usually finish the shift and the battery is still at around 35%, listening at mid to middle high volume. This is awesome as I don't have to worry about having a changing cable with me. These seriously last me all day! These are not a cure for my Tinnitus, but they are sure a big help by distracting my brain. In quiet settings, I can listen to any number of apps that provide Tinnitus masking sounds and this in itself is a Godsend. I cannot think of anything I would change, other than it would be nice if they would slightly amplify my surroundings as I have trouble hearing some voices on the bus. Other than that, perfect 10! Thank you Shokz!
You MUST use their App!I like to listen to audio books while I run. Initially I found the sound was low, especially when I ran along busier streets. But once I used the App first it allowed to me to hear even on the busiest of streets. The steps that ultimately worked for me:- turning on headphones and connecting to my phone- opening the App and letting it "find" the headphones- setting the mode to "Voice" (App remembers this after the first time)- turning up the volume on the App to full. This doesn't appear to change the volume on my phone too much and I'm not sure why, but when I set the App to full volume, my phone is not showing playback at full volume.Doing these steps allows me to still change the volume of playback on my phone. Now when I run, I can use the volume buttons on the headphones to adjust volume based on the street I'm on.It all sounds convoluted, but it takes about 10 seconds to set up. And since I've been doing this, volume hasn't been an issue even on busier streets.
These were on sale and I figured I could use them while I am working, so people can still talk to me while I am at my computer. The fit is pretty good and the sound is great. I do have a few complaints about them. First, the charger is proprietary which makes it difficult to charge unless you constantly carry the cord around. The good thing is the case has a spot for the cable. Second, there is only one side button. I constantly reach up to the right side to play/pause but there is nothing there. It is annoying, but not major. The major issue I have is when I go to turn off the headphones, using the Volume Up button, the next time I turn on the headphones it causes the volume to be raised. A simple update should be able to fix that.Overall, the issues are minor and I am enjoying using these. I do wish they made a larger version so I can rest them around my neck when not in use, but that is getting nit-picky.
I switched from Apple AirPods to this product and I couldn’t be happier. I have small ears so having these sit over my ears are perfect and do not cause any discomfort. I have used these in the hot sun running 10 miles by weekly and they stay in place and are sweat proof. Which is something I was looking for. The battery last long and only takes a quick five minutes charge for an hour. These are perfect for absolutely all my indoor and outdoor activities and very satisfying for a professional knowing I can listen to my favorite songs and still hear everything around me. The sound quality is better than Apple or Beats and is just right in terms of sound quality, base, and precision. If I could give this product a 100 out of 10 I would. It is by far the best headphone on the market and is perfect for the outdoors ensuring you keep a piece of mind.
