Shubb capos are among the best-selling capos of all time. Their good reputation is due to their sturdy metal construction and ease of use. The adjustment screw evenly distributes pressure across the strings, making retuning nearly unnecessary. Since around mid-2013, this capo has featured a new, even more ergonomic design and replaces the rubber cap with a roller (like the S-series), which transfers pressure more sensitively to the back of the neck. The C4 is suitable for electric guitars with a 7.25-inch fretboard radius (vintage). Most electric guitar fretboards do not have this strong curvature, for which the C1 is the best fit. Width: 4.90 cm Color: nickel.

Really solid and dependable. Easy to adjust too!

I use shubb exclusively now. Maybe there's a short learning curve to learn the adjustment but it's not difficult and really works good. I keep one in the case of every guitar. This one is black 7 1/4" radius and looks sharp on a black guitar with dark rosewood board. Only thing is this is like the deluxe model not the original style as pictured. It still works but I don't see an advantage or improvement in this change.

I bought this capo based on other’s opinion. It’s well made and unobtrusive on the neck.I think it’s strength is that you can precisely control how much pressure is applied so no buzzing or tuning issues. The only potential downside is that you can’t move it quickly mid song (if you need that).

Quality build using , I think, stainless steel and quality rubber.
so good that mine was stolen! Really good quality. You’ll lose it before it even starts showing signs of wear. My last one lasted 10 years and the new replacement is identical
Great product!
will buy from you again great product
Top quality as expected of Shubb
i've used G7th capos for years. it wasn't until i bought this one that i realized the radius difference in capos. these are perfect for the smaller radius's of electrics.i bought the highly polished nickle finish, it's mirror perfect.i'll continue to use G7th's for my acoustics but will pick up a few more of these for electrics.
