This is my first IEM set and I couldn't recommend more. I initially heard mixed reviews about the 215s, however they are extremely comfortable and lightweight, so I hardly realise I'm wearing them. The other features (adjustable part to tighten the wire at the back of your head; the swivel earphones/wires make them easy to put on; the abundance of included tips and case) all make this so worth the money. The sound quality is great, pretty flat and balanced in my opinion - I'm usually wearing these in a band setting where piano, guitar, singers and bass is playing, so these IEMs give me enough clarity and space to hear each instrument clearly. These isolate great too, very affordable for non-custom IEMs.

Great sound for the size. I pair it up with FiiO BTR5 Bluetooth Dac and it definitely sounds a lot better than the Sony 1000XM3 which I have used a lot too. The memory foam plug isolates pretty well. Takes a little while to figure which side is which in the dark despite the labelling. Wiring seems fine, let’s see how long it lasts. Bass is good and overall to me sounds more like a sennheiser momentum tw (the older generation). Vocals are a bit drowned coming through, but gives a slightly old school feel to it. Comfort wise could be a little better. Is it value for money, I would say definitely yes as far as the sound goes but not for the looks 😜

I wish these fit my ears
24 September 2022

I have both Beats Pro and Bose QC wireless ear buds that fit my ears beautifully for a good seal to produce great sound. Shure could take a look at how they make a standard 3 size ear insert. Bose is exceptional in the way they stay in your ears and make a great seal. Why do I have to spend another few hundred dollars plus a trip to an audiologist to get custom molds, send those out to a 3rd party, wait 3-4 weeks, to get a good seal so I can hear my bass over the other instruments in the group and get my mojo going. It's beyond me. I get these aren't the most expensive IEMs and honestly it's not worth the extra money on multiple drivers and still have to get custom molds. Sorry, couldn't recommend them

Motorcycle friendly, should come with more foam ear pieces.

This is my third set of SE215 earbuds. The first two sets were damaged from my own mistakes: A car ran over the first set, and my young kitten mutilated the second ones. I use them exclusively on my motorcycle both to protect my remaining hearing (worked in a metal shop in my youth) and to listen to music on my many long rides. The fact that I keep buying them speaks for itself. The sound is better than any less expensive earbud, including the direct competitors to the SE215, which either could not pull nearly enough volume or could not fit as well under my full-face helmet. They are tough enough to withstand heavy use.I appreciate the smaller size rubber and foam ear buds, but feel that for the price there should be several more sets included, even if it was a ... MoreThis is my third set of SE215 earbuds. That said, I'm going to keep kittens away from this third set of SE215s, but if something happens to them I'm going to kick myself for not being careful and get another set.

Not the best for bass response
26 June 2022

I had a pair of SE 315s dual drivers that are no longer made. I took a chance on trying a pair of 215s for use as in ear monitor while performing. I play bass guitar.Shure is a great brand. I won't argue against that. These 215's just won't provide a good, deep bass response without clipping or distorting as a bass guitar in-ear monitor. I would have to throttle them back to barely audible to keep them clean. They would work fine for a guitar player and vocalist. It was an experiment.I use them for listening to Spotify now.

Nothing wrong with them.Sweet and mellow just as many others have said, although I can't really say I've seen what they're on about regarding their inability to reproduce highs? Maybe that's an age thing though. My hearing ain't that bad and they sound good. So I call it how I hear it. White Lies Strangers in a Phat flac sparkles like a Christmas tree...so I am not gonna complain. They sound like the best thing I've ever tried. Expensive...yes but damn good. The only thing I will say is the right/ left indexing...what the'...? You can't see them and they're the wrong way round! Red in the RIGHT...what Da f'..! I've bought some aftermarket sponges and I'm mixing the colours to help me out.Seriously...they're nice wee birdies twittering in your ears. Standing Ovation for Entertainment Interpreting
21 September 2022

I'm a entertainment/concert interpreter who just used the SE215 Pros for the first time. Wow!! What a HUGE difference they make! With the roar of the crowds, it's often difficult to hear the performers beginning their next song, even on an FM loop, (and we often do not have set lists, so it's a scramble to find the song) but Shure made everything sound crystal clear and blocked a significant amount of the stadium noise. It was a whole new level of interpreting!! Plus, they fit around my ears so wonderfully and do not fall out while I'm moving a mile a minute. Well worth the investment!!

Use with Wireless Transmitter
22 May 2022

I am a singer for a cover band and we recently made the switch to in ears to finally end the battle with stage sound with feedback from wedges. What a game changer! I bought these headphones to use with a shure wireless transmitter and have used them for several rehearsal and a few live performances. Great sound! I am impressed by the noise cancelling benefits as well! When securely placed in your ears, they block out majority of external sounds - I've found that I'm preferring to have one securely placed with the other slightly loose so I can hear a bit of our sound mix coming from the main speakers and the audience. Very easy to use and came with multiple plug attachments to fit a range of ear sizes. I found that the standard size works perfectly for me. Working well for me.
14 September 2022

I'd been using cheap ear buds as in-ears for years for acoustic and electric guitar work on my church's worship team. But as more layers were added and sound system settings changed, everything began to sound like mud. So it was time enter the world of in-ears. These filled the need and fit the budget, and I'm happy with them so far. The sound quality is much better, the other instruments are more distinct, and I've been able to turned the volume way down. The build quality also appears to be pretty good, and the cord is more than long enough. The noise cancelling foam also works well. In fact, the one drawback is I now need to remove them when talking to other folks on stage during practice - otherwise I can't hear them.
