Having played this game multiple times, with players of differing skill levels it is a decent game very well made, the quality is really good and something Fantasy Flight Games to be proud of the plastics and cards have a premium quality as well as the cardboard piecesThis game is really easy in the opening few turns but with 4 players clogging up the board running their own agendas this can get a little bit hair-raising as a player's move can ruin best laid plans.My only criticism is the poor combat the rest of this game is a masterpiece.Play-time 4 players 2-3 hoursPlay time 2 player 2 hours max

An enjoyable game but not as in depth as the original civ game which is what I expect from this type of game.
This product is 5 stars because it is fun entertains and a good collectible for the collection.
The base game is not that great without the expansion but the expansion elevates it to a great game.
Great fun, very challenging with masses of replay ability.
