Just a nuisance and they can be re-installed. Easy to lose them..The USB 3.0 cable is a tad short but workable {too short for a good sized tower}. You can order longer cables as this is a standard cable industry wide. I have used a 3 foot cable and the drive still worked {buy quality cables!}..Chris.Milford, N.H.

Found the screws tough to get in so maybe not ideal if you are swapping hdd's alot , mine will be in permanently so not a issue , seems solid an working perfectly. recommend.
Well worth the money to back up all personal data, pictures, files, etc. from your personal home computer and/or laptop. Highly recommend you get one & do so ASAP. My laptop that was just a year old developed a problem & I lost the hard drive. Replaced internal hard drive & repaired laptop but lost everything on old hard drive. Some of it was not replaceable such as financial stuff, documents, some downloaded programs, and pictures. I then purchased one of these at Micro Center soon after for a great price. It's made military grade tough & will last a long time. It has 2 TB of storage space, you can put your entire electronic life on it & never fill it up. GET ONE!
Drive works excellent. I was impressed with it and very happy with the price for such a large capacity external drive.
Would get 5 eggs if its "armor" was more rugged/rubberized. Nevertheless I feel this harddrive is an excellent value and would recommend it.

It does not support my 2TB 9.5 mm drive but only the 7 mm SSDs, Such a disappointment.
Been using the 2TB for almost 2 years constant use in bag and with toughbook computer on site. has not failed once and is still like new.
