Silicon Power XS70 w/Heatsink PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD - 2TB
With a standard data transfer rate that's 2x faster than the 3.0 version, the XS70 PCIe Gen 4x4 with 3D NAND flash memory and NVMe 1.4 support is exactly what serious gamers need to crush the competition. Mind-blowing continuous read and write speeds up to 7,300MB/s and 6,800MB/s, respectively, enable the XS70 to push the limits of what an SSD can do so you can break new records. Inspired by the gills of a shark, the XS70's unique heatsink design with carefully angled slits enables it to breathe during even the most intense gaming sessions. Heat easily ventilates out through the heatsink's gill-like slits to prevent overheating and maintain superior performance. The XS70 is not only as fierce as a shark on a performance level, but it can breathe like one too for longer and more stable gameplay! In order to game to the extreme, the XS70 supports RAID technology and LDPC coding to maintain system stability and data integrity to deliver maximum and reliable performance. It also supports DRAM Cache Buffer for improved sequential read/write and random read/write performance. The XS70 is available in massive storage capacity options up to 4TB. With an M.2 2280 (80mm) form factor, the XS70's compact size allows for easy installation, while also saving space for other components. Coupled with its unparalleled performance and massive storage capacity options, it makes for an easy upgrade that's ready to handle the most heated matches against your opponents.

I'm using this in a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot currently, so I haven't bothered testing the claimed speeds as my system would be the bottleneck. As installed, however, I can say that I immediately wrote an entire 2TB game library to it in one go from another NVMe drive, and I had zero issues with that process or anything since. So far, it seems like a great drive for the price-point, especially with the included beefy heatsink.

After a Month in use in my PS5 the SSD seems to have failed completely. I thought the PS5 had a problem and couldn't see it anymore but I put it in my PC and it doesn't Recognize that anything is even plugged in Corrupted or otherwise. So I believe that this SSD burned out. Apparently the Heatsink on this drive is not up to snuff for running PS5 games for longer than a couple of hours as it seems to significantly decrease the Life of this drive. Also a note the PS5 itself was not overheating, I played a game for not even 30 min today and and then it crashed. I started looking around the internet to see what it might have been and if others had similar issues. After i saw that it was either the SSD or PS5 i took the SSD out and Put it in my PC to test it.
