Bought for in the boat. Needed something to try out as I was nee to boat fishing and wasn’t sure what style I’d like. My son is 6 and so it needed to be durable. Since we have caught many tailor and bonito with this rod and use it for squidding too.

Sick of breaking graphite rods so I bought this robust fibreglass rod for the boat. Whilst it is not as good as expensive graphite rods, especially for lightweight lures (eg softs), for the much more modest outlay it performs almost as well. Great to use. Very satisfying. I'd love to find a 7.5 foot one.

Decent rod for pulling Barra from the sticks. Had enough ooomph. Top eye fell out from its frame first fish. BCF were only too happy to replace the rod.
I mostly fish with bait and wanted a cheap light whiting rod. This fit the bill nicely.

Bought for my 12y/o daughter to use with dawia egg beater reel. put 18pound braid on it. has caught finger mark and grassy sweetlip on it so far.nice and light but strong and fibreglass construction sonit can take a knock and not have to worry about it breaking
