Decent rod for pulling Barra from the sticks. Had enough ooomph. Top eye fell out from its frame first fish. BCF were only too happy to replace the rod.

One of the best rods where value for money and robustness apply. While the guides are not state of the art this rod can take a bit of punishment without falling apart. I have caught decent snapper and kings without ever fearing the rod would let me down. Matched to a 4000 reel this rod in no-nonsense reliablity Plus.

Nice rod - should work well but weathers been so bad the boat is thinking it’s unloved

Silstar power tip are great value rock solid fishing rods budget friendly but well made .A good rod for beginners for children even for the experienced fisho a bullet proof rod .For anyone on a tight budget.
